Yeah, ok. Let's send ANOTHER 2nd round pick for a has-been. Remember how the last one turned out. Let me see if I can remember... Hmm... OH YEAH. Daunte Culpepper! Come on, KC. I guess you guys might as well see if we(Dolphins) are still STUPID.

Green is going to be 37 coming off an injury,
Haven't the dolphins learned there lesson with Duante???
Why waste a pick when you could go after David Carr?
He didn't look bad when he beat the dolphins.

We don't need to give up another high draft pick for a 37 year old guy who may or may not be a starter. Its not like we're one player away from being a play-off team. I like Trent Green but giving up a second rounder is a trade only Spielman would make.

Don't offer the Chiefs anything. They will cut him eventually.

A second round pick for Green. NO WAY. I don't care if the Fins have 10 second round picks! It's time to look towards the future and infuse the QB position with some youth. Go after Carr, cut Culpepper (save 1.3M against the cap), and move on. Fix the o-line. Sign Lehr and use the draft on an offensive tackle and center. You can find a boat load of WRs and DBs in the middle rounds. I strongly disagree with Carl Peterson that Green is not worth more then a seventh. I don't care if he's thrown for more than 30K yards or 300K yards. Bottom line he's 37, has had numerous concusions, cannot run anymore, and the Fins o-line is meager at best. That adds up to the next concusion. I say if he's worth that much to Peterson, let him keep Green and the Fins keep their number 2s.

Sign Carr and wait till the Chiefs release him. A 2nd+ draft picks? They must think they are dealing with Saban or Wanny! Trent wants to be a Dolphin, so he'll force KC's hand. A 7th is the right compensation.

If the Dolphins give any more than a 7th round pick for Green, then nothing has changed with Dolphin management.

This situation is so cut and dry it is ridiculous. Why are we even considering this option?

37 years old, injury prone! Mueller, prove to us that you are capable of leading this team in building a young, talented roster. Between Carr and Green. Carr by a long shot!

The Chiefs are ridiculous. Green is finished. I don't know if carr is the answer, but he is a better option than Green at this point. Every one keeps saying that he can't win, neither did Capers at the Texans, but the Defense is a lot better off with him as coordinator.

Carr is there waiting to be had for our team. Take him and forget about the old guy. Carr will push Culpepper out and we will not need to rely on drafting the wrong QB this year. We can focus on the line or trade down and get more picks.

Mueller and Cameron are doing the right thing holding out on Green. What they are doing is the same thing as last year-trying to bring in a veteran to play if Culpepper can't.

The cheifs must think Wanny & Speilman are still making decisions for the Dolphins. At this point I wouldn't even give them a 7th, they have to release him. If the Carr thing doesn't work out, sign him then

People keep knocking the Dolphins Oline of the past couple of years, but if you really want to see putrid Oline play, put in some film of the Texans. Some of the worse olines you will ever see. Carr might be better than people think. An incentive laden contract would make it a safe move with plenty of upside.

A second round pick for a 37 year old QB that was injured last year and will get cut?

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Whoever in the Chiefs that asked for that needs to stop playing Madden football.

KC should hire spielman. they seem to think alike. Here's what i'd give up for trent green. NOTHING. i'd rather get carr. i'd be happy with culpepper, carr and lemon.
