You say Trent Green is a back up quarterback? Check your stats moron. Except for this year,he's been one of the top 3 ranked QB's over the past 3-4 years, the only problem is the Chiefs defence, which is showing some improvments. If your going to rate him on this season when he missed over half of it, your an idiot! If your going to make those kind of remarks, have something to say to back it up, otherwise check NFL.com for previous years stats.

IN SANDIEGO IT DOSENT REALLY MATTER WHO THE QB IS BECAUSE THEY BOTH LOOK THE SAME ON THEIR BACKS. AND BESIDES THAT TRENT THREW 4 TOUCHDOWNS IN CLEVELAND AND LOST. SO IS IT ALL REALLY UP TO HIM TO WIN THE GAME OR TO TAKE ALL THE BLAME WHEN THEY LOOSE? WE HAVE A O LINE ISSUE AND WE NEED TO ADDRESS IT IN THE DRAFT AND IF WE DONT THEN WE NEED TO LOOK FOR QUALITY FREE AGENTS OUT THERE BUT IT ISNT A PERFECT WORLD AND SOMETIMES YOUVE GOTTA PLAY WITH WHO YOU HAVE AND SEEMS LIKE THATS WHAT WERE DOING NOW. IT DOSENT MATTER IF YOU HAVE PEYTON MANNING UNDER CENTER, IF HE CANT COUNT TO 3 AND THROW THE BALL WITHOUT BEING HIT IT AINT GOING TO WORK VERY WELL. PLUS LJ ISNT EXACTLY TONY RICHARDSON WHEN IT COMES TO BLOCKING ANYWAYS. SO GET OFF OF TRENT GREENS BACK ALREADY

Coach Edwards should never have put Trent back in the line, it's clear he never played right after the "hit". It's clear changes need to be made..now.

Trent WAS the man.... Its time to move on and let someone else have a chance. Lets keep one thing in mind.. Look at Larry Johnson. If it wasnt for Holmes injury we would have never known how great he is. Huard how a few games to show what he had. Its time to let him take over. Yes we also need to stiffen up the O line but we need a quarterback that knows how to get himself out of the pocket and make plays. Green is obviously not doing that

Trent is NOT the same since his head injury it sometimes takes months if not years to fully recover from head trauma if ever.

The problem was not Green. Think about it.. When he went down and Huard came in who was on the side lines calling plays for Huard... Green... Now that he is back it is back upstairs with the Offensive coordinator... I agree that I don't think he is back mentally... Physically but not menatlly... The problem is with-in the play calling... We could run the ball when they were afraid of the pass and we could pass the ball when they were afraid of the run however if you can only do one the Lions could scheme you to shut that down. Consertive play calling will not work, and either does "the greatest show on turf" all out passing. It has to be a balance and mix.. we need a play caller with the balls the size of king kong and the intelegence of albert einstien.

i do agree that we need a new offensive coordinator. yeah he had only one year, but he had years behind saunders to know better. i say we get denny green randy moss from oakland and give ourselves the offense that denny green gave minnesota. some may say that he stunk in arizona but lets face it the defense is why they tanked this year.plus herm when you say in the middle of the week that youre going to pull green then just do it. i dont see how it could of hurt.

I think that it is time to get a new offensive coordinator or completely change the offensive scheme of the chiefs. They have been excellent in the past using the scheme they have now, but I am not sure that it fits with what they are currently trying to do. Also, I would like to see Brodie Croyle get a chance to start next year. Every other team seems to be going younger, and Trent is getting old (37 next year). Quarterbacks tend to go downhill once they reach that age, and I would like to see a new direction for the team. By the way, just because Trent was good in the past, has no bearing on how he will play in the future.

I agree with Bob in Topeka. What Trent was and what he is obviously is two different things.
Solari was a line coach not a "O" coordinator, Isay give the guy a chance when the team is whole and complete. Look at all of the injuries the Chiefs had this year. Dick Vermeil ran this team into the ground, some of the players are at the end of their careers and need to step aside and give the young guys a chance. I quarterback change is coming along with Tony G leaving. That is football.

Ya get Trent out of here look at the history dumbass.....Trent was number 2 passing in the nfl in 2005 and in 2006 he was injured...So you cant compare stats. That is like trying to get good gas milege out of a blowed up motor impossible...So how can you say he did bad whe he didnt play????Go to nfl.com and learn something...

I wanted Trent to stay, but oh well. All i got to say is, if you think he couldnt count to 3 without getting hit behind the chiefs o-line, wait till he gets behind dolphins line. Just ask Harrington or Culpepper. I hate to say it, but instead of taking the lesser role for a few more years and retiring with dignity, he will end up just like another Brad Johnson. Next he'll try Detroit...ha haha

Hey the problem was that Trent didnt want to stay , ok he is still one of the leagues top rated passers when he isn't flat on his back.. I hope he does well in Miami but not to well.... He played in K.C. with class they should have given him the respect he deserved... but to the future we look and we need a QB who can keep the turnovers to a minimum and if that means by handing the ball of to LJ so be it if he can handle the load i would still like to Priest come and carry some of the load though.......
