not a coach. don't have all the answers. but to see a team with talented veterans and rookies lose close games because the play calling is mediocre and conservative at best, is just not the solution. let's make some changes and be proactive, not reactive. go chiefs!

A] Winning football teams have an attack plan ... and playing not to lose is not an attack plan. Peyton Manning said it best, " ... if we keep scoring [against the Jag's] we'll win!"
B] Herman Edwards is too self righteous and too selfish too see that his "being close at the end .. " perspective is total loser speak.
What does Edwards do .. challenge his troops to be close at the end? Wow that'll bring the best out in any team!! The Chief's need an offensive coaching mind in the organization .. they don't have one at present. It looks like the old "1st and Podolak" playbook. NO THANKS!!!!!
C] Look back ... It starts with Peterson and it won't end until it's over with Peterson!!! Carl .... Win or get out!!!!

dear Hunt family: do you think the performance of Carl Peterson is acceptable? Maybe you are ok with losing as long as you are making money.

I cannot believe how Herm Edwards has ruined one the the best offenses in two short years (not even two). His style of football stinks, we need a new coach that understands how to plan for a game.

I realize that coach Dick V had his flaws here and there but I can assure you that he actually does PLAY TO WIN THE GAME. If Herm could punt on second down he would. He has no problem setting on the ball and putting everything on the defense. Yes, our defense has improved and is doing very well considering the work that is put on them, but what message does that send to the offensive players. The truth is he does not believe in them, he has proven that every time he sets on the ball. At least Coach Dick V believed in his team, he understands that in todays NFL you have to score points or try to score points in every situation. I am not saying that we need to get him back or that he is the answer. All i am saying is Herm needs to realize that this is the fans frustration. we don't want a bunch of trick plays and B.S. like that. Just TRY to score points.

I said it when they signed Herm and I'll say it till they fire him. Aside from Norv Turner he is the worst coach in the NFL. He is an absolute disgrace. There is nothing enjoyable about watching a Chiefs game these days. I have been a fan for almost 35 years and now want them to lose so we can get rid of Herm. It sucks it came to this but Carl Peterson and Herm have got to go. I don't think this is what Lamar hunt had in mind when he went after Herm. I bet the Chiefs fans sure do miss Marty right about now.

After the 3rd game of the season I stated I would not watch or listen to a Chiefs game the rest of the season. I am glad I kept that promise. If we still have the same people running the show next year, I will not listen or watch any games next year either. I have been a Chiefs fan since they came to KC. But this team this year is ridiculous, not because of the players, but because of the coaches and Carl. Please Hunts, give us a team that will have a chance to win a game, get coaches that want to win, not just keep it close!! Call plays that are out of the box so the other team does not know what to expect, instead of them knowing what every play will be called. Who cares if a game is lost by 30 or by 3? A loss is a loss, if a few plays are called that may score points for us or could end up being in the other teams hands, it will not matter if we keep punting on third down anyway and force an already tired defense back onto the field again to try and stop their offense. Instead of plays to stay close, try some plays to win!!! When there are 8 defensive guys on the line and you try to run, it is going to be a loss of yards. Try a quick pass to the end for four yards, anything but run!!!Herm stated we could not go 70 or 80 yards to score, well, I understand Kc had the ball with less than 45 yards for a score four times and three points were scored. What is Herm's excuse now? I am tired of his excuses. Oh well, this is my last post this year, I am tired of the whole thing, maybe see you next year.
