Green will be fine, health wise and the dolphins will have a offense. As a fan we will finally have something to cheer for. last year 310 yards a game the rank 20th . total off. passing off. in 2006 3287yards (13) 205 per/g and a VICK like 57.9%(22)comp. and ONLY 16 tds T Green will help

OK. Not a bad deal.

I think he'll make a positive difference in total offense and in helping our your QB's develop.

I only hope that Green has learn his lesson that sliding down early is better than what he did to get knock out for most of the year. Bill p.s. don't rookies learn that in little league?

Culpepper is as good as gone. I would love to see him play this season though. There is no way Cameron will keep four QBs. It's Green, Beck, and Lemon. I would have released Lemon if I got Green, but he just signed a contract.

So the Dolphins got there man, again. This should make about 50% of us fans happy. Myself I think it delays the inevitable, John Beck is the future of this team the sooner we fans except it the better. How many more wins will Trent Green bring to a team with a weak offensive line, and wideouts that can't get open.

There is a silver lining in all of this, Beck won't get killed while learning the system, but he will be in his 40s by the time he gets to start.

The Dolphins need more than Green to make up for the improvments the Pats made. Plus, the dolphins let so much go after last season have they really filled all the holes. The questions are still out against this coaching staff.

So we are ready to hail the newest Dolphin qaurterback?? Why are we so quickly forgetting about the guy we raved about getting last year?? Culpepper has clearly been a better quarterback then Green through his career. I really hope Cameron gives Pep a fair shot at this job now that the doctors are calling him 100%

I dont think the Dolphins should give up on Daunte, this guy was one of the top QBS in the league before he got hurt last year he wasnt ready to play. It will be a big mistake if we let him go he should be the starter!!! Dont let him go!!!!

As much as well all wish Daunte well, he simply does not fit into Cam's offensive plans. The writing has been on the wall since Cam's hiring. Root for C-Pep with his next team, if you must, be he will not be with the Dolphins much longer. It's Green's team, now, and he is going to be a great mentor to Beck.

the regime caved in and gqave up more than they should of. Aj. feeley, culpepper, harrington, and now green. This franchaise ship is sinking again. They should have held out till they released him and paid nothing, he would have been released. There's no playoffs this year, so why trade the future.

Yes, I'm a Dolfan, but not a rabid one as so many seem to be. Take off your blinders and see that this deal sucks. The Fins have acquired an old and aging QB...woo hoo.

They just couldn't wait. The Dolphins front office again pulls off a stupid move. They could of had Green for nothing if they just waited. The Chiefs won this hand. Does anyone with a brain in there head think that KC was going too pay Green 7 million to sit on there bench? Oh, and by the way how long will it take for Green to end up on the injured list?

Actually the numbers just don't support that assumption buddy. Over tha last several years Green has been the 4th best QB in the league benind Manning, Farve and Brady, and would be only second to Manning if he hadn't missed half of last season. Culpepper is so overrated it isn't even funny. Green has been just the opposite, very underrated. He will be a great fit to help Beck and Lemon develop.

Hope we can get something for Culpepper. If Green plays all this year ,giving up next years 4th, and getting nothing for Daunte requires Green start next year or Beck must come on strong. I hope Beck can be the guy.
