Bob - Thank you for one the most encouraging blogs I've read in a long, long time.
If your sense of the Rex Man is even close to accurate, we Jet fans are in for an adventure. This could indeed be the start of something grand. And I'm counting on Brett Ratliff to fulfill that last piece of the puzzzle. Thanks again, Bob, and GO JETS! |

Bob - I'm sure you've already heard Jay Cutler is currently very unhappy in Denver. We all know he has a very...er...strong opinion of himself, and I doubt he's going to suffer McDaniels unfortunate blooper.
What do you think about his chances with the Jets? What would you think would be reasonable trade bait? Jets should make a tremendous push for Cutler. He's the real deal. |

we jets fans have suffered for so many years ! every year we say "maybe next year will be different" well as I see it now I hope REX beats this team into being a force to be reconded with !! it`s been forty years since joe willy worked his magic and thats way to long for us fans to take !!! please make us proud about something ! kick @ss next year !! it`s about time !!!

Bob, I agree with PointMan regarding Jay Cutler as a possible QB for the Jets. Could be a good fit for both at this time.

I think that the most encouraging thing is that Ryan is aggressive. He's not going to play that "prevent defense" that the Jets have historically played, and only prevented them from winning. He's going to play to win-- not protect leads. I love the acquisitions of Bart Scott and Lito Sheppard as well.

Hell Yeah, Bob nice article. I am so happy someone sees what I do. I am really looking forward to aggressive Parcellish football. As I said before, I'd rather lose trying to win, that win trying not to lose. Parcells brought attitude, the kind of aggression and skill, that even when we lost, I felt like the players sold out for him and us (The fans), and that made me proud and statisfied to be a Jets Fan. I liked Mangini as a person, but his emotionless, ridged, unimaginative and simple ways doomed our team, and the ended our players passion. With Ryan it seems different, doesn't it? Passion, intensity, and attitude, sprinkle that with coaching skill, it equals player morale, loyalty and happy players and fans. GO JETS.

Like against the mighty Seahags? Get a clue! They did not "try"....27-9 is not trying. Niether is tossing 4 ints like Pennington. |
