We always want an explanation, something on camera, on the record, that forever can be the sound byte for an incident like what happened in the final frenetic minute of USC's 28-7 victory against UCLA on Saturday at the Coliseum.

Talk to your fellow Bruin fans about that one, since they are the ones that are always bringing it up, in spite of the evidence to the contrary that I've posted in the past.
Otherwise, I completely agree with you. I have a little "hypothesis" that I've been "working" on over the past year and a half on here: I believe that one's fervor/fanaticism for a college team is in inverse proportion to your association with the college. For example, let's say "John Doe" is a huge UCLA fan, so much so that "he" has alienated friends and family over the slightest hint of disagreement with "his" idolization of the school's athletic teams and takes every opportunity to insult USC alumni and fans, regardless of the situation. If my hypothesis holds true, it is very likely "John Doe" never attended the school. My experience here has shown me that to be very likely. It has also shown me that the alumni of one school oftentimes have a lot of respect for the alumni of the other school, and your posts seem to prove that as well. It doesn't always hold true, but more often than not, the loudest/brashest/most offensive commenter has no direct affiliation with the school other than making purchases at the bookstore and their season tickets. What do you think?
