So glad you have such high standards for us Dan, that an 8 win season (or 9, or 10) isn't enough.

51 weeks out of the year, I have high standards for Notre Dame, so I'm glad that you folks finally gave up on Weis. His churlsishness was the only black mark on a fine institution.

Well, okay, so maybe the Theology is a bit liberal lately.

Anyways, best of luck in getting a coach befitting the program.

I haven't given up on Charlie, the AD and Father Jenkins did. He is one of the greatest offensive minds in football.....He just didn't do a good job as a head coach as far as making sure we had a good D. I was willing to give him another year. We knew the risk coming in, he had never been a head coach before. And he had never had to oversee the big picture, just the offense.

I will say Pete used to be smart enough to surround himself with coaches who knew football and discipline. They are all gone now and you have what you have, a bunch of animals on the sideline of the UCLA game and no class. I for one don't want it to be that way with our biggest rival and it used to not. We have become mediocre at best and U$C has become Miami.

We're definately not that bad, the UCLA fans eyeballing our (continuously improving)academics will see to that.

The problem now is that Pete needs to bring in someone who knows how to defend the spread...and maybe an OC to run it ourselves.
