seems to me SC has lost a lot of creativity since the departure of Norm Chow. He knew how to get the ball to players in position to make plays. I realized Reggie Bush isn't on the field and its a different team but I can tell you each game 25% of the play calls will be as follows:
1. Play action bootleg to either Havaili or the TE
2. Quick hit to Patrick Turner or Williams for a fall forward 2 yard gain

it just has become predicable and boring offense. Its like watching the SEC play. I know SC is "smash mouth" football history, but lets get real, we are loaded with speed and talent and need to utilize our strengths. Ie: Patrick Turner is 6'5... no quick hits, send him down field and put up a jump ball for him in the corner of the end zone. Run Mcknight on wheel routes out of the backfield and make LB's match up with him (with a talent like Havaili you can do the same out of the backfield). It just drives me nuts watching the play calling with all the studs we have we're putting up 20 something points per game on a crap PAC-10 teams this year and mediocre athletes at T. Tech are posting 50+. I realize the defenses in the Big 12 aren't that good but come on, neither is Arizona's...
FIGHT ON.. and hope for a Penn St loss, and/or two loss teams winning the conf championship outta the SEC and BIG 12 or we're stuck w/ Ohio St in the Rose Bowl.

USC better get used to playing in the Rose Bowl. Course they may have to sit out when the Rose Bowl hosts the NC game.

I think Sanchez is a fairly good QB. He needs more structure to become great. The team has some really excellent players and if they play up to their potential the rest of the year it will turn out to be a great year.

I also think the players are very boring since Norm left. He really made the game exciting.

Funny how all these usc fans keep talking about a national championship and worse case senerio a Rose Bowl berh.

Not so fast there fellas, you still have football to play and pray that Oregon State loses. Usc still has the mighty Cardinal on the road and also Cal and UCLA. I don't think fans of a future 3-loss team should be talking about this kind of stuff.
