Broncos still struggling to adjust to Jim Bates' new defense

Full story: KUSA Denver

As John Lynch says, these preseason games don't count but they do matter. And Denver's defense is still very much a work in progress with the opener at Buffalo just two weeks away.

The offense doesn't look much better. You can blame players on defense and offense, but I'd rather blame the head coach

You should blame the players. But like anything it'll take time. I live out here in Seattle and I see every year what happens to a team with no support. That also includes the coach. Remember all of the great attributes Shanahan brings in every year. This will be a challenging year anyway because of change. Without Shanahan do we really want to think how bad this year could be. Stay supportive of the entire team.

I'm a fifty year Steeler fan......Don't hate the Browns, but I sure hate the broncos. I tolerated (barely) the media and donco fans for nine years in Denver. Glad I'm out, and can enjoy real football again. Good luck this year.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Cancer

It's a sensational Full Moon in your sign, combined with a lunar eclipse! Holy cow! However, once you accept that even the best-laid plans could go awry today, you'll find that life is a lot easier to cope with. Try your hardest to take everything in your stride, even if you do have to rethink an arrangement at the eleventh hour. At least it's never a dull moment! Do your best not to let the tensions of the day spoil what promises to be some spectacular New Year's Eve celebrations. It will be an opportunity to let off steam. Have fun!
