leadership was not the problem. the problem was a very obvious one, especially to opposing coaches. lsu finished the season with a fourth string true freshman quarterback. with the dismisal of ryan periloux, the season sort of went south.(i agree with the dismisal.) with perriloux at the helm i could see lsu winning three more games even with the problems on the defensive side. that would have given lsu an 11-2 record instead of 8-5.(or maybe better?) bad break for lsu. lsu is still one of the most dominant programs in the country. its funny how none of the sportswriters break down the 2008 lsu season the way i just did. dont be too quick to write lsu off. they are loaded with talent just like last year, before the qb troubles.

oh, one more thing. if another team dismissed their star qb,(like usc or notre dame for example), does anyone think the national media would NEVER mention that fact as a big reason for their bad season? i think not. i bet you would never hear the end of it. geaux tigers

That's right Bae... Not to mention in all 3 of those 5 losses the interceptions thrown by Lee were the difference!

Even the Georgia game would have been within reach. yeah, Georgia put up 50 points, but LSU lost by 14 points... Hmmmm? 2 Int's!= Uh? 14 points!!! Could very well have been an OT game? Point being the losses could very well been wins, with the only exception being the Florida game!

So you say 11-2, easily... but could have been 12-1!

The talent was there last year, it is there this year, maybe even more! With Chavis and experience!!! LOOK OUT! GEAUX TIGA's!!!
