"I know coach (Brad) Childress is evaluating Matt's play to see if he wants him beyond this season," Linta said....you gotta be kidding...klink is great at evaluating players...(see tjackson, tapeh etc)...if someone had evaluated chili...maybe we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place...out with the colonel...GO VIKES!!

The biggest free agent is Bill Cower. Then bring in a D coordinator who is aggressive. Then trade for Vince Young or Brady Quinn.

Vince Young! You have to be kidding, right? Bill Cower;no thanks. It took Cower a long, long time to win a Super Bowl in part, because he stuck with Kordell Stewart for way to long before Big Ben fell into his lap. Sounds kind of familiar doesn't it.

Interesting - UFA are looking not into contracts for next year. Sounds to me kinda like they would like to see who the coach is going to be next year before they make a decision.

The article also sound as if we will have to let someone go to make some free space for next year.

How anyone in their right mind think the Gophers would go to the Rose Bowl this season must have sipping some specially prepared Kool Aid, and yet the writer's early words in the story were about losing a chance for the Rose Bowl. Give me a break.
This is a young team. They are going to a bowl, but have no chance at Pasadena.
