I'm sure a good majority of the Fin Fandom will be cheering for Sam, both for our benefit and his.

I'm definitely cheering for Sam, he was a great player for Miami and continues to be a great player. I never understood why Miami got rid or him or Wes. Good luck to Sam and the Giants, I hope they beat the Pats.

I was a huge fan of Madison, but the last two years he was in Miami he got burned all the time. I thought he was done. Perhaps he, and Surtain, were victims of a terrible coaching staff. Like everyone else....

The person who hires the coach is the owner. I will leave it that...

The Dolphins have made, like all NFL teams, some bad personnel decisions. However, Sam Madison isn’t one of them and he has little to do with the Giants’ success. Sam Madison is a punk who continues to be the most physical player in the league. Unfortunately for his team it’s AFTER the play. During the play he is the least physical player in the league who is very susceptible to missed tackles and double moves. The emergence of Aaron Ross and Corey Webster are the reasons why the Giants are in the Super Bowl. The Giants are a better team without Sam Madison. Tom Brady knows Sam’s weaknesses well and will exploit them. I GUARANTEE he will be victimized in the Super bowl by missing tackles, getting burned deep, and/or personal foul penalties after the whistle.

Sam is just one of the long list of players the Dolphins have let go which has led to their current position as the worst team in the league. I always cheer for Chambers, Sam, Surtain, Mare, Culpepper, Ogunleye, and I know there's lots more but I care so little about the Dolphins anymore that I don't remember them all. I really must thank the Dolphins though, their awful performance both on and off the field has gotten me back into the better sports of baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer. Huizenga is a disease on this team, they've been going steadily downhill ever since he bought them. When he sells, I may become interested in what this team does. Right now all I cheer for in the NFL is for the Patriots and any other undefeated team to lose so that I can still have some pride in the REAL Dolphins.

I hope Sammy and the G's win tomorrow. I want to wear the Fins jersey with his name on it to the first '08 preseason game in Mia. They should not have gotten rid of him, like so many others. Now all we can do is root for them from here...

One of my favorite Dolphins of all time. He didn't have blazing speed he just knew how to play the game. I'm rooting for Sammy.

Good luck Sam. My best memory of Madison was trash talking, and getting into Steve Smith's head when Miami beat the Panthers in '05.

i miss him and surtain. i remembe when they were both in theyre prime and the rules still allowed them to be physical during plays. him and surtain were the most physical duo in the nfl at the corners. sam had to adjust his game when rules changed(they added illegal contact beyond 5 yards in 2004) to more of a finesse corner it took him a couple of years to adjust but now hes once again a great corner

Isn't that the game Smith had like 200+ yards receiving and 3 Touchdowns? Yeah, he was really up in his grill alright.

Just because Sam is playing on a SB team doesn't mean he's still got the same stuff he used to. Sam was masterful in his day, but I'm guessing it was basically a cap move, he was gettin up there in age.

At least we got a 2nd rounder for Surtain.

Sam had a good game in the superbowl. Steve Smith did rack up yards, but when the game was on the line Madison took him out of his game. Smith was rattled.
