Well, another special teams player - that's one aspect of the Dolphins that should be highly improved. But what about the rest of the team? I'm left wanting more.

Well said. I like most of the signings, but the TunaPhins are still lacking playmakers. It is becoming more and more obvious that it will take at least one more season of free agent signings and another draft (after this year) to really fill all of the holes. Depth will still be an issue in 08-09.

Real smart move by the Dolphins this year(no sarcasm seriously) by building on backups they are getting very good depth...another season of this and we really could actually be competing.

Special teams needs dramatic improvement. Personally, I like the fact Parcells is'nt breaking the bank signing high priced vets who don't fit the system. It usually does'nt work anyway. There will be more additions, lets see what happens.

This guy sounds like just what the team needs, and another example of Parcell's good work, TOUGH PLAYERS that potentially might start but if not will be big upgrades to a special teams unit that stunk it up worse than any other...if that could be possible. And at a price that won't break the bank.

It's EARLY in the process, people. Don't forget that Cowboys fans were complaining about Romo being the QB, so how about letting it all unfold before you start freaking out?

Addressing the secondary AND special teams is a GOOD thing. The team has to start somewhere with the best available.

So, that will be about 10 years sooner than the stinking Jets, right!

So Roger, how much do the jets have locked up in guarentees to their 4 signees?? 60 million? How much they give Chatman. 10 million?? Parcells won't overpay, He develops Pro Bowlers. But you should know that. The Yets had him for awhile I believe. And in the last 40 years, that was the only time they put a decent team on the field huh?

0 career interceptions is a bad number for a safety. Looks like camp-fodder.

I like the focus on Special Teams. It was a huge failure last year. The coverage was poor. Returns should do a lot better if somone blocked for Ginn. Ginn was impressive in the open field. He's got the burners.

did you really expect differently? You think you can turn around a 1-15 team in one season?

This is a long term solution, and special teams is an area that needed to be addressed, and is a bit easier to address. IMO, what would be the point in signing a huge impact player this year, when you have so many holes, and you're already going to be committed to big $$ with the #1 draft pick?

I have followed the Cowboys since Parcells arrived there and am now routing for Miami. David is a solid player. Not a mega stud but consistant. There is no pro bowlers on the market now and demand too much money. I would like Bill and Ireland to pick up Bobby Carpenter if possible and have him compete for a ILB position. He's 6'2" 250lbs that fits his idea for that position.
