Seriously, let's not start the "good Rex-Evil Rex" garbage. We won today, despite a shoddy first half by our Defense, and despite Orton's injury.

The "boos" disgusted me. What the hell is wrong with people? Orton is injured, and we have Rex. I can think of worse things. The guy threw for a TD and ran one in. I'm more relaxed with Orton in there, but that's a no-go so I'm getting behind Rex.

People...we are in first. GO BEARS!!!

typical grossman line...13-27...190 yds...2 picks..2 tds...7 batted / tipped passes..1 bad exchange/ fumbled snap... many upcoming losses. Just amazes me how often bears qbs get injured... brett friggin favre has run out of bounds a zillion times on that same exact play..he starts 200 games in a row,,,bears qbs snap like a twig...just dont get it

Finally get a QB to get excited about and the guy thinks he's Marcus Allen. Kyle, chuck the ball into the stands and live for another play. Meanwhile, we are stuck with my least favorite midget, good for two turnovers a game. I would just have him hand-off but even taking a snap with this guy is an adventure. GROW REX GROW!!!

I'm glad it's not more serious. It was really not a very bright play on his part - he needs to learn to just throw the ball away or slide - anything can happen when you take a hit from the side.

Get over who ever happens to be our starting QB. With the defense playing (assuming its actually been playing) like it has done this year, we'll be lucky if our offense takes the field long enough to matter. Make a drastic move on defense (bench players, fire coaches, something!!!) or watch as this team implodes. We made DETROIT LOOK GOOD (AT HOME NO LESS)!!!

I must say, I fell to my knees when I saw Orton go down. I thought immediately, he's done for the season, this team is done.

Just when we thought Rex Grossman would never take another snap, he comes right back halfway through the season.

I feel bad for him, but he's just inconsistent, Hot, and cold. Good Rex, Bad Rex, it's true, it will define his "legacy". Fact remains he brought bears to super bowl in 06 and helped them lose it too.

Turner's play calling wit Grossman in was terrible. Plus why was Orton trying to score from their own 25 with less then 40 seconds to play in the first half. You know Lovie was wishing he just sat on the ball as soon as he saw Orton yelling in pain

Harris, Ogunleye, Urlacher, A. Brown, Vasher, M. Anderson all bite. Tommie Harris is the biggest waste of all. He cried all summer how he was "disrespected" and not shown the love etc. etc. etc. Then he gets the biggest deal in Bear history and basically has been a non-factor 8 games into the season.

Hester nees to go back to KR and PR--SOLELY. Leave it to Lovie Smith to turn the most exciting player in the NFL into a avg. receiver and avg. returner. Heck, at this point, I'll take an average receiver.

Notice how the players went out of their way to encourage Rex. They all know he is a turnover machine. Still once again the play calling leaves you wondering what the staff is smoking before the game. Forte was running wild the second half yet Lovie and the "Brains" let Rex pass way too many times and go with a qb sneak??? I've tried to give this staff a chance but they really are clueless. Don't forget this team could be undefeated without stupid play calling on offense and defense.

Man Orton fans are just stupid. Look! Rex was put in because Orton is hurt!

What more do you want? I'm a Rex fan, but Orton has proven this year that he's better than Rex for this team. But he's hurt! It's not like you have any other choice. Rex knows the offense and he's proven he can win. Stop being ignorant of the facts. He's in now. Support him for god sakes. Bunch of non loyal wagon jumpers...

Stop bashing on Rex or Orton or pointing out flaws. Both are flawed. None is Manning or Brady. Why must Orton fan bash Rex when there's really no other choice? Don't say because of Angelo not picking up anybody...because in reality having either one of these two as backup is probably the best scenario. Rex fan need to stop bashing on Orton as well. Orton played well enough if not great to get back his job once he heals.

Think logically. Be a bear fan, not an Orton fan or a Rex fan. Some people just give bear fans a bad name

LOlz....you Rex haters are pittyful! Booing Rex not only disgusted me but also made me want to go out there smack all you in the faces. IF your a true Bears fan you dont boo your own team just beacause REx comes in rusty off the bench, what you trying to expect from the guy a Tom bRady?? Idiots! Give him a chance to practice his butt off this week prepping for the Titans game, you will see this guy was clearly the chosen one whom he got robbed of his starting job. I guarantee you he will redeem himself to be the better half. yeah I tip my hat off to KO, but he's not here no more and wont be for a month! Thats rite, a Month! So say goodbye to KYle and say hello to the new era of RExism! all hail REX!

Without seeing the MRI results, how can they say how long he will be unable to play? That injury looked nasty. An MRI could show several types of severe soft-tissue injuries that could keep Orton out of action for much longer than a month and possibly for the rest of the year.

Let's see *you* try to walk after a defensive back twists your ankle about 30 degrees further than nature intended it to twist.
