JaMarcus Russell had, frankly, a wasted season. It is so frustrating, since he has the necessary tools to be a great quarterback.

The OL is really becoming a bigger concern because the right side is bad enough as it is. After reading on Examiner that Robert Gallery possibly has the same back problems that slowed down Chester McGlockton and eventually ended his career, that leaves Mario Henderson as the only decent OL on the team...The two things that consistantly killed us this last season were poor play by the OL (especially when Gallery was out) and inability to stop the run on defense. QB play was a liability with JBust, but that was fixed when he was benched. It was great with Bruce Gradkowski, but when he got injured and Charlie Frye took over it wasn't as bad as with JBust but he wasn't as good as Gradkowski...Injury to BH-Bust was an improvement to the receiving game.

(O-line) is where we need to pick first in the draft! BUT, if there is a (D) player out there that we cannot afford to pass up? i won't be dissapointed. but yes, start at (O) first pick.
"TWICE" if we have to! this year we have to protect the (qb). we cannot afford to lose gradkowski again unless jbust is somehow transformed!

If Suh happens to fall all the way to us, I'd take him in a heartbeat. Rolando McClain might be worth it, but I really think OL is top priority. I'd be OK with going with the best available OT in round 1 and then LB Daryl Washington in round 2 unless Brandon Spikes falls that far. I just won't get excited or disappointed until I see them perform on the field.

(ot's) we may not have the best of picks at #8 but (d-linemen) we may have more of to choose from and still get someone great. oh and enjoy the draft get over all that not getting excited until you see them perform thing! it hasn't been fun for us lately but it is a fun part of the nfl. just follow the draft! these past few guys need better coaching and (one) that needs to apply himself to playing. IT'S LAIKE A BAOX AOF CHCOLATES, YEU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GONA GIET! we never know what we are going to end up with. maybe this 2010 pick will please you and things will be better when the rest catch on! "enjoy football still" (shit happens =)

Everytime I see somebody that we passed on succeed for another team I always ask myself "Would he have done that well for us?" Especially if the guy that we took in favor of the other one struggles.

we've gotten up alot of guys that went to other teams and as you can see, they didn't work out! we picked them out later in their years after being released from their former team but some of those guys you better be glad we never picked in the first place!(LOL).but i do see what you're saying. it's like crabtree and dh-bey, yea, crabtree was a better pick but he held out! "like russell". we got dh-bey cheaper and a top pick. it looks like we have a bust in dh-bey but he's still in a learning mode. it sucks that alot of these players that other teams pick up are instant pro-style players but we are not the only team that happens to. it feels like it because of our 7 season losses. we just got some slow learners but i'm sure two out of those three picks will work out, "hopefully"! we have other players in there that are still waiting their turn.(they're still learning). we want them to be pro-football ready. i wish they all worked out that way.
