Ok I guess this answers a question I've had for years on how compensary picks work. Since we lost Green last year, and we get a compensary pick this year then If we lose Gallery and Huff this year then we'll get picks for them next year. I don't think you get picks for players who's contract was terminated or traded away.

Yea,i always wondered that myself. bills cut green,so no pick for him,but got extra pick because lost T.o. And reed in F.A.
