Barwin now a defensive end
“He ran a 4.6 40. At 6-5, 255 pounds, the dozen or so NFL scouts looked pretty enamored with him and the thought of him playing defense. As we moved closer to making this decision, that kind of sealed it for us.”
Connor Barwin, a tight end during his first three years at the University of Cincinnati, will line up at defensive end Tuesday when the Bearcats begin spring practice. via The Cincinnati Enquirer

Wow, He caught anything near him, great hands, great leapinng ability, once they started to throw to him. But he is a tuff, team oriented athlete so if anyone can make the transition effectively, he can. He could be a DE force but is a fan favoite at TE and on the hardwoods.
