As long as Texas plays in a no-defense, flag-football conference, they will have QB's that put up astonishing numbers. Bradford? What was the Tech guy's name last year? Who will remember McCoy's name next year? The Heisman voters know this. As soon as real competition shows up (and I sure as blue blazes don't mean USC, another powder-puff team in a powder-puff conference) all that passing ability evaporates. Look at the Big 12 Championship game. When Nebraska came with some real D, Colt just folded up. And for all the daydreamers sitting out there thinking...'What if?' Let me tell you, Texas didn't even see HALF of Alabama's offensive package. After the last second touchdown in the first half, the ghost of Bear Bryant visited Nick Saban's body and all we saw was the good old 4-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust. If AL had been throwing the ball to Jones and Ingram, Tx would have lost by 40. SEC rules. When the NCAA gets done crushing USC and Reggie, it's possible the SEC will own all but ONE (or a share of all but one) of the NC's of the BCS era.
