Packers DT Justin Harrell sidelined again, this time with hip injury
Defensive tackle Justin Harrell's lost season hit another bump this week when the Green Bay Packers' medical staff decided to shut him down for at least a couple of days because of a nagging hip injury.

I for one am tired of hearing about this guy. He hasn't done anything and isn't worth whatever he is being paid. His history for injuries is well known by most fans; definitely one of the few picks that hasn't panned out. Hopefully, TT will find linemen answers in the draft and/or FA. I wouldn't make Harrell part of any equation for 2009.

problem is Ted spent a 1st round pick on him and Ted wontlet him go ( his ego) and upside will prevent that.If we can get 1 healthy year out of him, maybe we can see some potential, but, he is the Ben Sheets of wisconsin football!

I was wondering why we did not draft a DT after the loss of Williams and the fact that Harrell is a slothist sack of crap.

good question BROOKS..
Ryan Pickett and Jonny Jolly to start
Colin Cole and Justin ( i havent played in my career yet( Harrell as backups! That doesnt sound to much like depth to me.I think they planned to shift Cullen Jenkins to DT if someone got hurt or was ineffective, but, he got hurt and thats the injury that really hurt and it took a few weeks of getting beaten up and wear and tear to slow down the line for Jenkins injury to take hold.
Every team goes through it,and its the teams with the most depth for the most part is the ones who win it!
