Bring it on Mr. Portis, but don't expect to make it the 2nd half! If you are hurting on Friday, just think what Monday will feel like!

This will be a Monday to look forward to because I work with Skins fans. As my gift to them, I will have tissues for the fans that show up.

Good story idea, but a phoney statistic. Many teams employ multiple runners so it's rushing yards per game that is important, not per individual. Like what the Giants did a few weeks ago. The defense, and the run defense in particular is real good, no need to cook the books.

whatever happened to Tommy Polley? He looked good for that season with Ray at the helm, and then he was never heard from again, it seems.

Tommy Polley moved to the Caribbean and was the subject of a movie staring Ben Stiller and Jennifer Anniston called, "Along Came Polley". He lives in seclusion, but, occasionally signs autographs for people after he tells them his name and what he used to do....and shows them pictures to prove it.

The Skins have 2 good back-ups also, but their passing game will have to open it up for Clinton and Co. We do need to be concerned about their passing however. We can't let Santana sneak behind us deep like others have this year but futily dropping the ball. He is lightning quick and holds on. Cooley is better than Heap now and gets lost in a crowd easily. That being said if we punch them hard from the get go they will simply fold up. The o-line is below average and pressure on Jason will start the collapse. Ravens 24, Skins 13

Whoopdie doo, 28 games without a 100 yard rusher allowed. That statistic is impressive, but lets be honest: we all know that it doesn't tell the whole story. It is probably not necessary to point this out, but I will anyways: Lewis and company got torched on the ground by the Giants even though none of their backs had 100 yards by himself. I would be interested to see how many times the Ravens D has allowed a TEAM to gain more than 100 rushing yards with Ray Lewis playing. The streak certainly wouldn't be as long, but I bet they have allowed under 100 total rushing yards in at least 90% of their games since 1998.

Over the last decade the Ravens have definitely had one of the best run defenses in NFL history. I just wish the statisticians would focus on the whole picture of each games' run defense, rather than just rushing yards gained by individual running backs!
