There are only 2 teams in the NFC with better records. If not for the Seattle debacle, the Packers would have the NFC's second best record. Certainly, the Falcons have earned the right to be called the best team in the NFC, but it's a matter of opinion after the Falcons. In any event, the Packers are certainly among the NFC's top teams AGAIN!

and should be for the forcible future,NOW, we just have to prove it on the field.Hopefully, they peak at the perfect time. They are winning with blowouts ( Houston,) Ugly,( Det) and have a nice little streak going and we haven't seen them at their best yet.
Division games coming up and if they can run the table like they did last year, that should be enough to win the division.
The Packers do have a better playoff record on the road then at home the past recent years, but, winning a division would be cool but winning the SB is what its all about and lets hope they can pull that off by peaking at the right time and staying reasonably healthy

I've always pointed out that the regular season is merely about positioning for the season that really counts - the post season! Once a team qualifies for the second season, that is when being undefeated matters. Only one team in the playoffs will win it's last game and that team will be crowned as Champions. The Packers have the recent experience to understand that better than any team.

You can throw NY in there as well,They have won 2 SB 08 and 11 while we won 1 in 10,,N.O. in 09 and even N.O. has a shot of getting hot and making the playoffs. Guess the NFC has been dominate in recent years hah

To be honest we are one of 3 best teams in nfc as of now its def -san fran the giants and us not in that order.New orleans is just all about offense (mr.brees).
San fran an the giants are both complete teams that just seem to have it all even though the giants arent playing well but this is there time of year to start shining. The Mannings like there father are just unbelievable , peyton making a comeback after his injury and is doing excellent with denver and Eli is doing wonders in ny.
Green Bay, with all of the injuries we have on both sides and to be tied for first at 7-3 to me that says something about the pack.
Atlanta i feel is the same ol same ol team. Just dont see them being able to unseat san fran giants or us.When crunch time comes i feel they will fold again. As i have said from the beginning beware san fran and giants. These are the 2 that will give us trouble- everyone else in the nfc will fall.
Can we beat them - of course but it will not be easy. Confidence is high, i repeat confidence is high!!

NY usually picks up about this time of year, and they are coming off a bye week,so they should really be ready to play,so we must be on top of our game.I do wonder at 7-3,if we can afford 1 more loss and win this division at 12-4,since we are tied with Chicago and the fact,we should beat them again, ties us again and we just have to hope Minnesota drops back and we have 2 meetings with them as well,so we can take care of them ( or they can take care of us)

As of right now, after their win against the Bears, I would say the 49ers are the best NFC team. Great defense, ability to run the ball and an above average passing game. Home field is key for them. They can be beat as we have seen. Like was mentioned here it is about getting to the playoffs and getting on a roll.

49ers are the best in the NFC right now. Belcher Report throws out asinine crap just to stir up site traffic.

Dudes, the only complete team in the race is SF. The rest either lack a strong defense or is deficient on offense. High scoring offenses don't win playoff games. Don't count the Vikings out just yet, they seem to be the only team that can consitantly run the ball in the NFC.

Don't get so excited about the 49ers beating the Bears badly. The Packers did the same thing and the Bears had their starting QB at the time. The Packers have as many wins as the 49ers. And if not for the Seattle game fiasco, the Packers would have more wins than the 49ers. The Bleacher Report does have a lot of stuff that is questionable, but every now and again they hit the nail on the head. It makes sense to declare the Packers the best team in the NFL.

The 49ers? You mean the team that couldn't beat the Rams last week even though they had 2 weeks to prepare? The same team that beat the Bears badly (just as the Packers did) but were aided by the Bears starting a far inferior backup QB? The Bears couldn't score all season. Then they lost Cutler and played a team with a very good defense. What did you expect? A close game? You are giving the Bears WAY too much credit. I called that game and I did it many weeks ago when I pointed out that the Bears haven't been able to beat any team with a winning record and that they would lose when they got to this part of the schedule. The 49ers are good, but beating the Bears merely proved that the 49ers don't suck! It certainly doesn't make the 49ers the NFL's best team.

The 49ers are a decent team. They certainly rank among the Packers, Falcons, Texans, Ravens and Patriots. However, as you pointed out, the 49ers can be beaten. It only takes one performance like the Vikings, Giants or Rams had against them and they are out of the playoffs.

Complete team? Have you forgotten about Alex Smith? Or have you already replaced him with Kaepernick? Or (as a Viking fan) do you think QBs don't really matter? It sounds like wishful thinking!

I'm curious. If the 49ers are the only complete team, why couldn't they beat the Giants, Vikings and Rams? You can define "complete" any way you wish, but if it doesn't equate to wins, it doesn't matter much!

That would be amazing, in part, because it is extremely unlikely. Can you remind me of the last time the Vikings beat the Packers twice in a season, because I only seem to recall the Packers beating the Vikings game after game after game. The Bears have a tough schedule. They have 4 games remaining against teams with winning records. The poor Vikings have 5! And they are a game back of 2 division rivals! I told every Viking fan to enjoy the division lead while they had it. I hope you did.

I do expect the Vikings to at least split games with the Bears. In fact, I'll be surprised if the Vikings don't win both. I'm actually hoping for it. We have already crushed the will of the Bears. No Bear fans even show up here anymore. They have seen their future, and their future is the same as their past: PACKER DOMINATION! I'm hoping the Viking fans get to see their team get close enough to create some hope, only to experience the disappointment of seeing that hope crushed.

It will happen 100% positive once for sure this year. You wont beat AP in his house. The pack wont even make the playoffs and if they did back in as wildcard. THE VIKE WIN WILL OUR DVISION. this year. heck they almost lost to the Lions last week.

The Vikes will win the division. And the pack if they do somehow make playoffs will be beat out by someone first round.

Are you positive? As positive as you were last season that the Vikings would lose both games to the Packers? Or as positive as you were the year before? ROFLMAO! I want to thank you for getting your hopes up! I love it.
