Jenning was only supposed to be out for 3 weeks. He may be back in time for the NYG game ( if the Packers hold to the 3 weeks)or with 3 weeks plus rest,he should be back for the final 5 games which includes 4 division games.
IF GB beats Det,that puts the Packers at a 7-3 record and in a nice spot for a playoff spot.Chicago ( now at 7-2) and if Alex Smith can go,SF prob. beats Chi.Both teams have terrific defenses, but, SF ( with Smith) should have a good enough offense to score double fiqures on Chicago's defense,im not sure Chicago led by Jason Campbell can do the same and if the Whiner does play,im not convinced Chicago will score double fiqures either vs SF defense.
Brandon Marshall and Matt Forte,,an offensive line that gave up no sacks and the Bears only scored 6 pts? Whiner throws for 35 yards in the 1st half, only to have Campbell throw for more yards in the Bears 1st possesion in the 2nd half? OR that 1 throw to Marshall setting up the 2nd FG for 45 yards was more then the whiner threw and he was never sacked,No wonder why Pakluv ran with his tail between his legs ( history shows he does nad as predicted) but a SF win over Chi and a GB win ties the 2 for the NFC North divsion,so looks like the Seattle screw job will play a big part in how things end up then

Still a lot of football to be played. The Packers control their own destiny with 5 divisional games. Tough tough games that could go either way. unfortunately, the injury bug has bit the Packers again, much like 2010. In my estimation the division is there for the Packers' taking. Hopefully, the bye week allowed for adjustments and correction in pass coverage on 3rd and long plays, tackling technique and catching the damned football.

A rest for the injured which was much needed. It just may be a blessing with Lang at RT and D-S at LG but an injury after that and we may be in trouble as depth will start to thin. You can only keep so many.
I do wonder if Lang does well,is that a clear sign that we can trade Bulaga to free up cap space.Jennings was clearly gone, but, 1 has to wonder what his groin injury all season will do to his FA demands, 30 years old, hasnt played a full season in 3 years and if does lower to a reasonable amount he may be resigned( but im not holding my breathe)Driver will come cheap,so who knows there.but.
Bulaga can be traded ( but a dislocated hip will certainly lower his value since hes going to miss the rest of this year,so we wont get value, but, wipe out his salary and create cap space)
Finley,enough said
Driver,Woodson ( 2nd time breaking the same shoulder, that cant be good)
Hawk,im not to sure hes gone,1st it would only save GB 500K and 2nd with Bishop and Smith coming back from serious injuries who knows( although both are very young and should bounce back) and Hawk has done his typical no highlight film but very consistent and solid job AND is always on the field
So there are avenues to take for the cap going forward but lets worry about today.Det,we should beat them and off a bye week, healthy.NYG coming off their bye week and after a terrible lose in Cin.look for them to make a comeback and play well ( will it be good enough? who knows).then 2 games vs Minn 1 left with Det,Chi and Tennesee.
Its not who you play, its when you play them and who knows but 5 division games late puts GB in a nice place since they havent lost a division game since early 10. I just hope they can get the running game going better and take pressure off of Rodgers and open the passing game that much more.Rodgers is close to the top in completion %,yards, ect and the GB WR lead the league in drops! Imagine if Finley had hands, how much better Rodgers numbers would be!Its clear, hes a top notch qb, the TE ( FINLEY) has to catch the ball, throw him in front of a ball throwing machine and make him catch 100 passes per day and make him practice concentration and see if that helps,if he can make some plays ,his trade value goes up as well

The Packers will get some guys back, but that involves some adjustment as well. The injured guys hopefully come in and produce, but it changes other players roles and the chemistry. Injuries cause a disruption problem, even when players return. In any event, I hope the Packers can create a reasonable amount of cohesiveness, continuity, consistency and chemistry prior to the playoffs.

Drivel? The facts bother you, don't they? Look at the bright side. The fact that the Packers have beaten the Bears 5 straight times AND crushed them earlier this year AND the Bears haven't been able to beat a good team this year, are all better reasons to be scared than the facts in this article!

I wasn't attempting to answer your question. I was pointing out what it revealed and making sure you I pointed out every other reason for you to panic. Enjoy first place while you can!

It would appear GB is catching up to Chicago and Chicago has their 3 good team this year coming up in SF ( assuming Smith plays) so another Chicago loss and a GB win and we are tied,As long as GB can stay at worse a game behind Chicago until they meet in Chicago for their 14th game,GB can make the move into a tie and own the tie breaker.,IF Chicago beats GB but the Packers take care of business everywhere else ( even a loss in NY) puts them at 11-5 and that should get them a WC and as long as your in it,you can win it.
