Was it just me...or was that not the sorriest class of people that I think I have every met in the state of Florida last night in Lakeland. Granted, Oviedo was not prepared for Lakeland on the football field, but the people in the stands were horrible. And to see fans who cheer for their team when they get a personal foul or unsportsmanlike conduct...It was "thug central" and it seemed that Lakeland Coaches love it. How can a principal or a coach, or any representative of that city be proud of the gang-style fan base and thug like football on the field play. There were a couple of decent Lakelander's that apologized for their hometown, but it was outta control, from fans threatening fans, to fans threatening to shoot coaches....wow! I hope they keep winning on the football field, cause once its over, Lakeland football clearly has nothing else to look forward to, except prison maybe! FHSAA needs to look at that place, what shame that people at a sporting event act that way!!! It was better to lose with class as we did, than to win without it, anyday! You Lakeland folks are a sorry representation of your community! But you seem to be proud of that...wow.....
