At least the expectations are now set lower, and they can rebuild. Unless they get lucky in the post lockout it will be many years before they will contend again.

I dont know what to say about my Vikings.Id like to see Frazier be able to have a year or two to get his own players and coaches cause I think hes a good coach.Id like to retain as many defensive players as possible cause I think the defense is pretty good if they werent on the field all the time.We need an offensive line coach and some changes on the line which everybody knew last year.I think we might as well play Webb for the rest of the year cause we saw what Jackson can do...looked the same as the Philadelphia game..stand in the pocket and get sacked.Dont run or throw.I feel for Jackson cause I know hes got a family but Troy Aikman said it best..hes good if his first read is open otherwise he doesnt know what do do and holds the ball way to long.Webb looked better in the couple plays he was in.We have to keep Sydney Rice next year and get Percy healthy and find the long term quarterback.Im sick of Favre and Im sick of Jackson.Favre was great last year and we had a great season last year and i thank him for that but its time for a new start.Well be back but its going to be a long long long long offseason for Vikings fans.

My last comment is I think Peterson will be better next year with Bienemy gone.

A new stadium would have solved all their woes!

Forget poor coaching, unfounded 50th anniversary hype, desparate hiring of the dusty old warhorse Favre or unstable Moss, Metrodome roof holes, overpaid egotistal players, a short season with part time low paying service jobs for employees, greedy owners and players league (lockout coming in March), purple fans who seem to need a life off the field and away from the tv screen.

A new stadium would have solved all their woes!

That egg the Vikes laid did help Frazier, completely uninspired performance. Wasn't impressed with his teams effort at all. No excuses about weather or home field, both teams had to deal with the change of venue.

The words overmatched, sloppy, lathargic come to mind.

I'd still like to see a big name coach in here to put the pieces back together again. If they get this wrong again, it be 8 years before they're competitive again.

Not just Mt Mushroom sucked the whole offensive line took a beating. Defensive line other than Kevin Williams was dominated and the linebackers disappeared. The Giants had their way with us.

"That's disgusting with the type of talent we have on this team," Shiancoe said. "What do you attribute that to? I don't know."

I've got news for Shiancoe, the Vikings don't have the type of talent he thinks they have.

Shiancoe, Sullivan, Jared Allen, Asher Allen, T-Jack, Berrian, Lewis, Pat Williams, Robison, Tahie (sp?), and the offensive coordinator....all need to be replaced....that's a lot of holes!

With the Bears, Eagles, and Lions coming up, this very untalented Vikings team will finish 5-11....yes, the Lions are the better club and have a bright future.

With the roster they have and the stadium issues they are a mess!

If the players, owner and fans are not embarrassed, I am embarrassed for you.

Might I suggest an exorcisim by your local archdiocese?

I think we need to remove the entire staff, including Frazier who's defense looked horrible. We also need to clear a lot of players and begin all over! You need a team before a stadium!

Lots of holes..All year, poor at QB, no offensive line, D-backs get picked on all game, and I've hardly heard a Williams name mentioned during any game. All this can't be fixed in one year!

remove the crappy roof and play outside like men do. remove the whole crappy coaching staff; remove both crappy quarterbacks who are next in line; get a professional coach and staff and let them build a new team instead of affirmative action. let's use some common sense. oh for the good old days of bud grant outside football!!

Time to move on- wipe the slate clean from coaches to players and start over again. This group got old, gutless, and complacent in one season

Give the underachievers a break---forfeit the balance of the season, and then Wilfie can move the team to Albuquerque.

Vikings?...playoff dreams? Are you kidding me? Ha Ha Ha...this is the funniest thing I have read in a long time. The Queens season was over way before this season even started. Now, the team is in shambles, the stadium issue is so comical it hurts...ha ha ha, this is the funniest thing ever. Playoff dream?...yep, that is all it will ever be, for many more seasons to come!
Move this team to LA, please and lets get a real team to join the Bears and Packers in the NFC North.
