This was an extreme game.both teams looked bad,yet looked good at times.the panthers rush of defense was great and by far superior than the vikes defense,in time the vikes will glue together and be a formidable foe for any team that opposes them on defense.the vikes played their rookies on defense throughout the game leaving them exposed and pouress to pass attempts and for the most part the panthers offense tried their best to catch them off gaurd with play action,it worked but yet the vikes defense held.on a scale of 1-10 i would venture to say they hold a definate 6+ and im sure their defense will be getting a higher rating in the standings this season, but to see them go forward to the playoffs i guess its a little to early to make a prediction here so im doubting they will make it futher than 2nd in the division, unless they can beat the chicago bears more than just once this season,if not they might have to wait to see who beats them to get in there.either way you look at it the vikes offense isnt that good at all, they have drop the ball syndrome and they need to catch the ball instead of just attemting a catch.the recievers need better route planing and differant plays from what ive seen.they simply cannot define football as a run alone, they have the mix,but need to use the recievers and tightends more than they do.if thier going to play west coast offense then they need to get into the middle of the field to catch the ball in crossing routes and not just a couple of times.
all in all they did good, not great but good, only good enough to get "lucky" with a win and thats all.the panthers had the game, they played better by far! infact both teams done pretty good with penalties within the exception of a few facemasks other than that it was close for both the defense's.the offense wasnt glamerous for either team and were about even,as for yardage gained im sure without looking the panthers gained more but still they lost the game.

Then, you're wrong:

Delhome-181 yrds. Johnson-243 yrds.
Logwell-16= 259 t.
----------
Rush

Carolina-107 t. Minn- 130 t.
C.Taylor-113(himself)
----------
Pass

Carolina-181 t. Minn-259

The Vikes played a good game and yes, they still need improvement in a few areas but, they won two games almost all said they should have lost. They will lose some but, they should also improove along the way. They could be the darkhorse.
