Is it just me or do all the so called “trendy” restaurants here in El Paso all seem the same? Whether you’re eating at Crave, Ripe, The Garden, Coco Miel, Geske’s; it seems like each one has the same items on their menu. They each serve the green chili macaroni, sweet potato fries, stringy fries, kettle chips, walnut vinaigrette salad, chicken Panini’s, etc. They all use a whole number for their prices. What El Paso needs is one of those original unique restaurants like the ones on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, El Paso needs some creativity in their restaurants and not just another restaurant that tries to be like the other before it with another hip and chic name.

Did it ever occur to you that way back in August, your team had as much of a shot of making the big dance as any other team? After fourteen years of sour grapes maybe someday the cowboys will give you somrthing to root for instead of making you the bitter, angry, mal-contents that the cryboy fans have become. Sorry the Packers embarrased you this season, and sealed the deal on Wade Phillip's fate. You can always jump ship to Houston and continue your love affair with Wade, I suppose. Packers vs Steelers will be a good Super Bowl, the only shame is the big-screen tv in the middle of the field may serve as a distraction during Barak's half-time interview with Billy Boy. I'm having a GREAT gathering of friends on SB Sunday! We're going to be working on our Fantasy Baseball leagues and prepping for the start of a REAL sports season April 1! WGAF about the Stupid Bowl? F the Yankees!

I'm having the ultimate Super Bowl party too. We have 3 kegs ordered along with a mountain of chicken wings and 2 strippers to perform at halftime. They will show up wearing a costume from each of the two teams. After they do their dance and strip down buck naked, the one from the team that is losing will give the lap dances to me and all my friends. It should be a real hoot and I can't wait to see how it turns out.
