It will be interesting to see if he starts next week? If he does and he does poorly again, how long can you make excuses for his play? I bet the fans aren't too happy and it would not surprise me if KC is out shopping for a quarterback. I don't think KC and the fans want to have a whole season of "let's see how he can do"
At least for the time being they can still run his local TV commercials for the Auto Dealership. He he doesn't make it as a quarterback, he might at least land a job there :) |

I hope our bou Thigpen pulls it together and makes a name for himself and CCU on the national scene. The Penn State loss was embarassing, and the fact that so many of the football players have been arrested lately have me thinking that CCU's football program is not improving. The coach doesn't seem to have control of the team - and he needs to if he expects to get respect from any players or fans. This program is in trouble.

I thought that maybe it was now required to be in trouble in the past or get in trouble while you were at CCU if you are/were a football player? Just seems to me for a school of this size the ratio of football players getting in trouble is pretty large. I wonder if the school does a background check on the players before they come to the school? Especially if they are on scholarships. That Penn State game was all about money. The school could care less if it embarrassed the team or the school. I think anyone who didn't care about the money would have said, "This is not going to be good for the overall football program". "To go to Penn State and get beat badly". They knew this is what would happen even before they went. Yet the school just wanted the money. I can't think being beat the way they were on national attention will have any kid playing football knocking the door down to come to CCU for it's football program. The coach can't control the kids because you can't control stupidity and it seems like many of the players are just stupid by the things they have done. |
