Heavy rain during the entire game will favor Chicago....they're built for it and have the power running game and strong D. So, if it turns into the mud bowl they will have a definate advantage

However, if it rains there like it always does....pours hard for 15 minutes and then clears. I don't think it will make any difference at all. Miami isn't Chicago.

Thanks Rich for pointing out that Miami isn't Chicago. I don't know how I could have prepared myself for the SuperBowl without that powerful insight. Keep up the good work.

Jeezus... they are FOOTBALL players..weather won't be an advantage to either team and saying as much is ridiculous. Dome team or not, the Colts have PRO football players on their team. It's not like these guys grew up in "domes" when they were in HS or college...

If it does rain it could help Indy's bid to get the Super Bowl in 2011. The NFL would not like to see a week of everybody soaking up the sun and getting tanned, and then sitting in pouring rain for what actually matters: the game.

Good luck, Colts fans! But we have an x-factor besides Devin Hester...Papa Bear George Halas up in heaven. He's got the ear of the Big Man on Sunday's weather!

More than likely the forcast will change 10 or 12 times between now and kick off. Besides showers in Florida are of short duration and will be "REFRESHING" for the players. The bears are GOING DOWN GO COLTS!!!!!

Why do people make a big deal about dome teams? Don't they realize they play away games too? The Colts have beat other teams in the snow/rain/cold weather. That dome teams cannot play in the rain is a total myth.

Not to mention I get sick of hearing things like "this is Bear weather." Or "this is Packer weather." Look at most NFL rosters, these players are from Florida, Texas, California and can't stand bad weather. Why is it as soon as the NFL season is over everyone runs for home and warm weather. Favre doesn't stay in GB shoveling snow, he runs for Mississippi.

Yeah. Grossman was 15-3. Beating the likes of Detroit, Minnesota and Green Bay. Whoopee!

Short rain showers in Florida will favor the Colt's offense.
Between the short rain showers will be suffacating humid hot air which will wilt the bear defense while Peyton and company run the always hurry-up offense.

Oxygen tanks better be on the sidelines next to Tank's guns when he comes off the field. ErLackeey, who has choked in every big college and pro he played, will be sick on the sidelines in the Fla humidity.

No Mas ! No Mas ! Colts 41 - 13 !!

Don't forget... not everyone played college ball in Florida or California. Some of these players have actually seen snow before!

I think he's 19-6 as a Bears starter. You play the schedule in front of you. Bloominton Rex knows how to win...

Colts fans can count on sacks, stripped balls and interceptions for Manning. Bears will crush them in the 4th quarter. Grossman will have 2 TDs and no INTs. 34-17 final score. GO BEARS!

As for the weather, come on -- the Colts DO play in other venues, many of which are outdoor. It is only a statistic and not a determinant, but so far no team with a domed stadium has ever won a Super Bowl.

Having grown up in Kokomo and now living in Glen Ellyn, IL. I'm torn on who to root for. Best wishes to both teams -- I couldn't have asked for a better match up!
