Congratulations to Efren Rodriguez. Would've been nice to know at the beginning of the article what sport he was participating in? Come on now, E R, we are not all mind readers.

Maybe not mind readers, but exercising common sense should be a fair assumption. It's not track or swimming season, so what other kind of MATCH would the article be referring to.

Chess? LOL Sorry if I offended your common sense. And as for swimming season have you never heard of indoor pools? Just asking, no need to rack your brain for the answer. And I'm wondering why a track meet would be called a match? See, I DO know some things. But obviously I'm not in your class of knowledge.
