What happend on the bus is very tragic!!! The two boys involved deserve to be expelled and assult charges pressed against them. My sympathy goes out to the parent/parents of the boy. But, can the news please stop showing the video of the assult. In one hour that video was played seven times. In one clip it was played back to back three times.

Ignorant people make everything about race. Only the boys beating that boy know what it was really about. And I think they should be locked up for a very long time so they can think about what it was all about for them. My guess is they are very hateful, cruel and ignorant boys themeselves and neither black or white children are safe with them around.

This video NEEDS to be shown nationwide. This is a nationwide problem in all schools across America. Look on the internet about bullying cases, read the book Bullycide. Bullying laws need to be changed, because children All across the country are being bullied daily leading to physical and mental damage, that can even last a lifetime for victims. Many victims will end up losing thier life, either from suicide or from the perpetrator. We need to have NO TOLERANCE for bullying acts in schools enforced and STOP it from the very beginning. Take verbal action and voice your view at your school board meetings. YOU CAN MAKE A CHANGE AND SAVE A LIFE NOW, IT MAY BE EVEN YOUR OWN CHILD/CHILDREN YOU WILL SAVE!!

Chris Draft seem to chuckle when he mentioned the attack on this young man and called it bad behavior. I have to wonder if he is genuinely trying to HELP ALL THE STUDENTS or just certain ones. I noticed on that tape, beyond just this young boy being viciously beat, i aslo noticed other students, black and white both terrified and filled with fear as this attack happened. I have viewed this tape many times and became more sad each time I did, not just for the child being beat but for the rest of the kids on that bus who wanted to go get an education WITHOUT BEING AFRAID. I never saw any part of this that made me want to chuckle, maybe that is Mr Draft's way of handling something this awful, i certainly hope so.
