I can't call it .. Used to be a shutdown elite cornerback but last 2 seasons has been shady .. I hope Trent balke knows what he's getting .

I think Nnamdi was great for us partly because of his reputation . They didn't throw to his side much when with the Raiders. He moves to eagles and is now thrown too. He struggled. Maybe not as good as his reputation was, but still better than half the dB's in the league.

I think namdi was in a bad situation in philly. They made him play a lot of zone. He thrived in press man coverage in Oakland. He also had no safety help in Philly. I think the rest of the great 49er defense will help him get back to his old form.

I trust Balke. He is the best gm in football.

Nnamdi is a press man corner. What happens when you ask other players to NOT do what they do best? They suck. Will you run the speed option with Peyton Manning? Ask Wes Welker to never play the slot?

Its foolish and stupid to expect certain guys with certain physical skills to just simply "adapt" to what you "want" to do in a particular scheme. Guys get misused, then defensive coordinators get fired and the same guy gets cut.

You guys all make great points plus we need to remember that Philly's ENTIRE team on both sides of the ball stunk it up badly. Players were missing assignments all over the field in nearly every game so to point fingers at one guy isn't fair.

Nnamdi should do fine if the 9ers sign him.
