A win is a win. Now Grossman...I don't think he will ever be able to handle the pressure of a starter. Once there is expectations he goes down hill. Now I think Grossman can be a great back up. He's a good quarterback as a replacement but not a starter. The problem with the Bears is that we really don't have a starting quarterback.

Rex Supporters Please stop! 1 play, my God he made one play! You Rex supporters are insane. The second string DB from a team that is fighting for the number one pick in the draft bit on a stop and go and Berrian went right by him without saftey help. There was perfect protection and he threw the ball and Berrian caught it. You act like he side stepped a blitzing line-backer on a number one rated defense and then threaded the needle between 4 defenders with the 5 seconds on the clock... My god he was wide open ! Did you forget about the previous 30 minutes of his mind-numbing play. HE SUCKS get over it. Next time put Orton in so we can see what the hell he can do!

Bears fans never cease to amaze me in their blind devotion. This team stinks from top to bottom with a few exceptions along the way. They are going nohwere this year or next. I agree, throw in Orton just to see if he is worth having on the roster as a backup. Otherwise blow up the position and get rid of all three QB's and start over. Problem is, Angelo has shown zero aptitude in addressing the position. The fact that they can't compete in an extremely weak NFC has me very concerned about the future.

They never should have taken him out. Griese throws as many ints, and has no deep ball. plus high risk high reward makes for good TV.

Rex gives us the best chance to win. He makes his mistakes but they were magnified last year because the rest of the team was so good. This year, the offensive line is playing horrible and Benson looks like he has cinderblocks tied to his ankles. Rex brings energy that isn't there with Griese. Griese aka Captain check down, is safe but brings nothing else to the table. And how Turner still has a job is beyond me. Someone needs to unplug his communication to the QB's helmet every game. yea grossman does give us the best chance to win and he was a great deep ball unlike griese...i wish they didnt get rid of thomas jones last season because he was a huge part of the offense and benson was pretty good last season when they split carries i thought that was the dumbest move they couldve made getting rid of jones

Subject: A Thought for Your Next Article
So here is a thought for your next article.
You are personally charged with preparing Rex Grossman for his return Sunday November 11, 2007 in Oakland against the Raiders. You being yourself, any expert quarterback coaches, and industry experts. I am curious, what would they say? What would be their approach? Do they make a consensus that Rex will never be a starting quarterback because he cannot improve?
Would you bring in the same person that trained him for the last year?
If not, who?
What would you work on first? Speed?(Sorry, I just have this idea of Rex doing two-a-days at the local YWCA hard impact aerobic classes or joining dancing with the stars).
Thanks,
Mike
