Titans' Carr could play double role for Steelers

Chris Carr was a backup with the Titans last season after spending the previous three seasons with the Raiders.

I hope the Steelers pick him up. I've always liked Carr's performance. He's an athlete, and he happily does whatever is asked of him. He would be a great addition on the field and in the locker room. Carr just loves playing football, and it's always a plus to have guys like that on your team. The Moore/Holmes experiment was not much of an improvement outside of reducing turnovers. Make Carr a Steeler!

I'd like to see the Steelers pick up a couple OL to compete with the starters and a couple of draft picks as well. They also need to get a WR in FA and maybe the draft to compete for the #3 WR spot.

I believe Carr would only help the team on PR/KR.
That position on STs is still an area of weakness. He would also be a decent backup at corner.
I don't believe there are any FA tackles out there in our meeting our talent needs or price range at this point.

Going into the 3rd week of Free agency should bring down the numbers to what they paid to resign Colon. Love to have Barnes come in and compete with Colon for the RT position, along with a high drafted rookie for good measure. The Steelers are sound enough at almost all positions to be able to concentrate the draft on the lines. Reguardless, not many from the draft will make this team anyway from other positions.

You know me...BPA baby! OG, OT, C, DE, NT, CB, FS, ILB, WR, or FB (unlikely). Whichever one happens to fall to us. I'd trade our 1st rnd for a early-mid 2nd round and additional fifth. Pick up a good center who can play G as well with our early second round pick (Eric Wood), a DE at the end of the second (Hood or Maola), a guard in the 3rd (Urbik preferably - for Faneca comp), WR in the late 3rd (Ramses Barden), and if we get all those guys...Colbert can draft whomever the hell he wants. Scott McKillop in the 4th would be nice too.:D
