Tebow is the man and potentially could win it every year he remains in college. I actually hope the Falcons are so stupid that they don't draft a quarterback untill he enters the draft, probably next year. Tebow will be one of the best players to ever play the game, with the right coaching that is. I would imagine that the Falcons will take a quarterback this draft but you never know how stupid they are. Tebow will probably stay in college untill he knows the Falcons can't touch him, who would want to play for them anyway?

Hillarious - with 3 losses, and a trip to which bowl, and he win's the Heisman? This proves College Football awards to the highest dollar, ah, um, achiever.

what are you talking about? the Award is for the best all around player, not a team. Tebow is the best player, hands down.

Most of the Gators players are freshmen or sophs. That they still finished 9-3 after so many players defected to the NFL just shows what kind of program Florida has. And Tebow did more for his team than any of the players on teams with better records. End of story.

OK maybe Hawaii at 12-0 against a fruitcake lineup, we'll find out against the Dawgs if Hawaii is for real, or not...

Colt Brennan deserved this award this year..not Tebow. NO losses...recored set....one pic thrown all season. He should have walked away with the Heisman. No doubt. GO DAWGS

Sounds like the Gator-haters are out in force!! Tim Tebow was the clear choice. The award is about the INDIVIDUAL person playing COLLEGE football.

Did anyone out there hear Bobbie Bowden's post-game conference after playing UF? He said it all, including that Tebow should win the Heisman. This speaks volumes when teams coaches (who tried to recruit Tebow too) speak this way.

The Gator Nation is proud!

What??? Look at the schedules lady. All these teams with powder puff schedules should come to the SEC for one week. It is easy to be great if the bar is set really low.

I guess the Spurrier legacy continues to hurt Florida and peoples percetions of the football program. Tebow is Great and Florida has a great program. If you don't like them thats your problem. Personally, I hate LSU and Ohio State regardless of who they play but at least LSU has a tough schedule. Ohio State is a weak team, Florida proved that last year.

I agree about the schedule but, Hawaii is a good football team and Colt Brennan is as good as a quaterback as anyone. I've watched them play several games and he is for real. As far as the game against UGA, I don't know who will win but if both teams show up, it will be a very good game. Probably the best game of this years weak arse BCS calimity!

ps...I agree that LSU and Ohio both suck and make for a boring game. Way to ruin a season you BCS jackarses!

It is ashame that Colt Brennan didn't play for the SEC, he would probably have one because of the difficult schedules in the SEC. Great Points Wavesport!!!

Have read a lot of posts about Tebow, many of which are very disappointing. While ther can be arguments for other players, the number of personal comments made toward Tebow are uncalled for. FACT- He is an exceptional college athelete. He is an academic all american, he does seem to be humble, appreciative, and genuine. He knows how to properly express himself. And remember, he did not vote the award to himself, it was voted to him.

Tim Tebow hands down deserved the trophy. If it would have went to McFadden, I would be cool with that. But Brennon, Hell NO! He plays in a weak conference. Had Tebow played in Hawaii, with that schedule, he be undefeated too! The SEC is the toughest schedule! You can can get beaten by anyone! They got it right. GO DAWGS! Send them shirt wearing pansies back to where they belong DAWGS 45 Hawaii 16

SEC, SEC, SEC, all damn day long. Although I thought there were better athletes than Tybow. He does play in an elite conference where you have to come out every game and play your butt off. All these top contenders should have to play at least one SEC team a year if you wanna prove you are national championship material. Ohio State - huh! Talk about a weak schedule. BULL"DAWGS" rule this shiznit. Signed - PAWS.
