Well considering that these overpaid drug thugs, rapists, and punks play in all sports, and on a diversity of teams maybe you should stop watching all sports, and stop hanging out on boards to criticize them, because your just adding to what makes them all popular and make more money.

The article on the NFL website is even more damning of their handling of this matter than this one is.

The NFL have messed up, plain and simple. WHY are they so intent on dragging this out and picking a fight with the NFLPA in the same year that they'll want to sit down and resolve the collective bargaining agreement? This is just plain dumb.

In the process, they are besmirching the names of five of the most respected players in the league. How this strategy will enhance the reputation of the NFL or boost revenue is a mystery to me.

I agree friend. I became a fan watching Fran vs. Terry Bradshaw. Although I would proudly display my 2009 NFC Champions t-shirt, only a Lombardi would set things right with me. The only downside would be the Brad Childress post game speech which would be one of the most forgettable of all time.

Improve the drug policies and procedures with regards to NFL players and they should be well informed by the time they are drafted. Let these players do community service teaching school kids about drugs.
