Brown fits the mold established by Childress and company, a young star in the making, with plenty of experience and upside.

now that this tidbit of info is out...all i can say is: " good luck mr brown with your career ( if you will even have one after this)". there are things worse than dying...and being considered as fitting the mold of dumb and company, sure is it!...hey ZYGI...HOW ABOUT GETTING RID OF THE MOULD ON THE SIDELINE...GO VIKES!!!

Idiot Childress better look at right tackle and guard (that is if winning in the playoffs is the object. Many of his decisions - or non decisions suggest it may not be...).

There are a few good Free Agent Right Tackles FARTS) out there. How about Kwame Harris? He was a first round pick and a pretty big FART. Not an old FART, either.
Just wondering

"trade pat williams for a first round pick"

randy p, you took the words right out of my mouth. sports fans are such homers! no one is giving us a first round pick for a 37 year old. put yourself in someone else's shoes and you might just realize what a moron you are.

Good luck to our Vikings in pursuing Brown; if Birk leaves, Brown would be a great replacement. Too bad the Redskins are so intent on re-signing CB DeAngelo Hall. He would make a great Viking corner. I hope we retain Kleinsasser.

I can see Brown with versatility but why Saturday when they have Birk now? Smoke and mirrors. Don't believe anything until the pre-season is over.

What if this was all a smoke screen for the Vikings to pursue Haynesworth! They said they wanted depth, but not listed any possible suitors. Pat Williams is getting old and this would mean rest for him here and there. Another thing to consider is the possible four game suspension.
In other words that is just dreaming! I rather see them lock-up the o-line with fixing the RT.

Jon Stinchcomb is the guy the Vikes need to look at. Another young guy with 3 years of starting experience for the most prolific passing offense in the league at a position of need (RT).

He and Brown would have to make the Vikings the highest paid offensive line in the league lol...
