Pat White aims to avoid turnovers, lost yards in minicamp snaps

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

To hear Dolphins coach Tony Sparano tell it, some of Pat White 's best throws at this minicamp have been the ones that sailed well beyond the back of the end zone.

We will see more of a contribution from Pat White's legs, rather than his arm.

1) another nice post Mike.
2) don't discount White's arm ...he made 1,844 yards and 21 touchdowns on 180 of 274 passing with 7 interceptions through the air in his senior year ...a career 149+ passer rating and better than 64% completion %...his 79 yd completion in the Fiesta bowl is still a record ...and best of all in my view is his win record against top teams ...sure he can run like hell but he is and always has been a very, very good passing QB.

too early to judge anything from these OTA's.

its a good thing though because it gives rookies a chance to get comfortable with the team before training camp starts (which is where we really start to separate the boys from the men)

I can't believe the patriots are cancelling their final day of mini camp. Bill Belichick must be too busy handwashing his extremely vast assortment of sweatshirts.

love the feeling Im getting this yr, say the right things then do the right things. We should have a great yr if we keep working hard and play as a team.

I'm sure this guy will get it together. But I still think this was a dumb pickup. He doesn't really fit in anywhere. Sure the Wildcat... An offense they use maybe 10 times a game if lucky. The players we had already did a nice job with it.

So many other positions we could have used that pick for.

pat white will be huge, no longer can defenses stack the line and play the run they now have to respect the pass, it could really revolutionize football! it's funny how the pat's jumped in front of us in the draft and jumped on the nt and the cb! and the trio does and end around on them and picks up white!! only time will tell but in my opinion masterfull!!!

Rex 2 yr old Ryan has a big mouth and a bigger ego(like his daddy) makes for a bad combo when it comes to head coaching. Like his dad he will blow up and throw a punch at one of his coaches put a hit on someones punter and get fired by the end the yr. Suck on that jet fan Burp!
