Hagan had some kind of records in college. how come when he got to the pros he forgot how to catch all of a sudden? I agree, anybody will be better than him...GO PHINS!!!

As they say, it is a whole other level of play.

The other point is, when these guys come to the pros, they are still developing mentally and physically. Some don't mentally but still do physically, bulking up, getting stronger. These are the guys that you shake your heads at.

Then, there are the guys that make that quantum leap forward between the ears. Those are the late round draft picks that end up being stars a couple of three years down the road. Sure, good coaching has a role in it, but it is mostly what goes on between the ears.

If they have the heart and physical attributes to be outstanding in college, then they have a chance at getting into the NFL. If they develop mentally, they have a chance of staying and, if they develop their physical level of play along with the grey matter boost, they can be a starter.

Special teams should do well this year.

Now, if we could get the rules changed...no offense or defense, just kicking the ball back and forth.

Why aren't they locking up this specialist for more than one year if he is soooo good?

I totally agree, you must start somewhere. Special teams is the key for successful teams. I think Bill and the gang did the right thing by getting special team specialists rather than what was done last season .... you know the "Longest Yard" group.

Did I read this article right?

A hip injury limited him to 4 games the last two years?

Hip injuries are a
LOT like achilles injuries....very debilitating.

Remember Bo Jackson?

Not understanding why we can't find healthier players to compete for roster spots!!

Is it just me, or do we still not have any WR's yet?

No QB either. And I guess they're not overly thrilled with Ted Ginn JR...or his family...HAHA

You people are really something, nothing is going to change overnight. You have to give Parcells some time. Your not have a bad team one day and wake up the next and have a winner! This team has been falling apart for years, its gonna take a few years to put it back together.Wannstedt,Johnson,Sab an,Cameron and Mueller all had a hand in dimantling it.( Parcells ) is trying to put it back together. EVERYBODY JUST HAS TO BE PATIENT AND STOP WINING !!!

Huizenga is the one who ruined the franchise...while bilking Finfans for over a BILLION dollars in profit...And how do you call for patience when its been almost 40 yrs since a SB win? LMAO

There isnt one on the market?? too funny. I guess you have to wait till one drops out of the sky huh? Moron is the appropriate name for you. Its been 11 years since we had a franchise QB.

Please just ignore the posts from the resident losers on this sight.

When the likes of Roger, Jet Fan, Mace Taggart, Jetattack etc come on a website for a team they don't even root for what does it say about their faculties?

These miscreants are in serious need of therapy. Probably sitting at home in a robe with their Johnson in hand because they have absolutely no lives to speak of.

Taggart and Jetattack can't even structure complete sentences let alone spell properly.

Roger is just a tool with limited thought.

They're not going away but ignoring them might drive them crazy. Sort of like putting a piece of cheese on the floor of a round room and telling them that it's in the corner.

Roger are you 15 years old??? I've worked with special needs children that are smarter than you.

Hagan deserves one more chance in my opinion base on his past accomplishment at WR.

truth_karma: They didn't sign him for more than a year b/c of the hip injury. He's one of the guys that has his head on the chopping block if he can't prove himself in the preseason
