Merely hours before the start of free agency the Dolphins have signed receiver David Kircus to a contract.

Kircus, who is 6-foot-2, 192 pound, has spent three seasons in the NFL . He was most recently with the Broncos in 2006 but didn't make it to the 53-man roster last season, which makes him available to sign immediately.

He's appeared in 28 games in his NFL career, including two starts, and has caught 15 passes for 308 yards and a touchdown. He's also returned six punts for a 14.3-yard average, and fielded two kickoffs for a 19-yard average. Read more
