right, but the experts wont see it that way. they will mention inexperience at quarterback, but amazingly wont see that as a problem at such universities as usc, alabama, ect. these opinions will affect preseason polls. this is just one example why pre season polls should be done away with.

With Jefferson coming back as only a sophmore and a great number of key players coming back (Lafell opted out from the NFL draft!), LSU has an excellent chance of making, not only a run at the SEC West, but the SEC championship, and possibly the National Championship. 2010 seems to be more like our year. But, if things work out right for the Tigers as early as THIS YEAR, we could see results rather early (LIKE THIS YEAR INSTEAD). We also have the #1 recruiting class, according to CBS and ESPN coming in this year; and the #2 recruiting class according to rivals and scout.:)

Fans like me make LSU the most dreaded playing site in America; and that's why some people want to play for other teams to play against LSU in the most dreaded playing site in America........FACT! Fans like me make Death Valley the very best place to be on a Saturday night, Tiger Stadium (Death Valley)!!! That's what I'm talkin''bout!!! I've been a Tiger fan since I was 13 years old (1969). We continue our countdown of Ohio High magazine’s top 50 football prospects for 2010 with today’s look at the No. 9-ranked prospect, Cincinnati Princeton quarterback Spencer Ware.

We will continue this countdown with a look at each of the top 15 prospects over the next two weeks. The list will then be updated for the Fall edition of Ohio High magazine. Click here for information on how to subscribe to Ohio High.

Here is our look at Ware:

Cincinnati Princeton’s Spencer Ware (5-10, 220) has made his name as a quarterback for the Vikings. But it appears he will move to running back at the college level.

On Wednesday, Ware ended the suspense by committing to LSU. He had a ton of top offers, including Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, N.C. State, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Duke, Illinois and Iowa.

"I like the connections the players have with the coaches and the academic people,” Ware said.“I like where LSU is located. I don't like to be cold. I like their style of offense. I like the stadium and the school. I like everything."

In an interview with TigerBait.com , Ware said, "The three running backs they have now -- two of them for sure are going to the draft. One might or might not. Then the two running backs they got in the '09 class weigh about 190 (pounds). Me coming in -- I'll be the biggest back they have," Ware added.”

Ware has been the Vikings starting quarterback since the beginning of his freshman season. He threw for 2,200 yards and rushed for 982 his sophomore season. Ware threw for 1,960 yards and rushed for 770 his junior season. He has a 2.8 GPA.

Ware said he is open to running the ball and not throwing it at the next level: "Running back is interesting. I am pretty cool with that. I like running back."

What are you talking about . Notre Dame has the largest fan base in CFB. You rag on them being crappy. I do belive it was not too long ago LSU was in 3-9 and 4-8 seasons when the SEC was a joke compared to the Big Ten in the 1990's and the Big 12. You guys came back and won two home bowl games . Notre Dame will be back up there.

Every time USC plays in the Rose Bowl, dip shyt, it's a home game. Two games in New Orleans doesn't compare to all the games that USC has had the home field advantage in the Rose Bowl; and Texas even beat them for the national title at practically USC home field.....Don't make excuses. You're full of shyt! Vince Young and Texas beat them. Excuses are for losers. USC couldn't even win on their home field against Vince Young. So, take a flying leap, buster!!!

Thats becuase I belive those longhorns in 05 is in my opinion the best college football team ever. NFL guys every where.
It was a very close and very competitive game. And another thing quit with the insults or every one will know you have a tiny 5 inch penis. If home field means nothing then why did Arkansas get murdered by USC the same year they took LSU in overtime and won. SO what do you think the out come would have been if USC played LSU in 08 or Florida in 09 or they played Ohio State or Florida in 07. We could easily be talking 3 strait titles for USC. In my opinion Texas 06 beats all of them.
And yes homefield helps when you never play outside your comfort climate. Do you think Florida
would have played better if they played in January in Ann Arbor insted of inside Florida state lines for yet another home game for the sec.
Big Ten 08 07 bowls
Penn State Texas A&M in San Antionio Texas
Ohio State LSU in the Super Dome in Louisanna
Illini and USC in Los Angles Rose Bowl
Michigan and Florida in Orlando
Tenn and Wisconsin in the South as well
Purdue and Central Michigan in Detroit.
Yankee Statdium will be thrown into the mix but I bet the SEC will have nothing to do with it. We all know how well the SEC does when they travel. You get smoked. Just like Iowa did to you and Ohio State did to you when you player them in the regular season. Another thing. Try to hold your academic standards a little higher.

I hope LSU wins the SEC. I love Les Miles . He brings a very physical smash mouth game and trench battles and bruising backs. Hell they landed Spencer Ware . He is a big boy. He is my size but in better shape Im sure. I hate Florida's style of play. I hope LSU wins the SEC and goes to a supreme bowl. They are one of my top five favorite teams to watch do to there physicality. They remind me of classic smasmmouth football like Woody Hayes and Bo Schembeckler style of play.

You talk about the "the what if's" too much. That's what losers do... What if that....what if this....LOL You're a cry baby, that's all; Besides, the plan where they will play the games years in advance. It just happens that LSU played that specific year in the Super Dome. Why don't they change the Rose Bowl to Happy Valley? LOL :) I'm not even gonna say 'what if' because that is what losers say. Face it! You're full of excuses without any answers that can go further than your little gang bangers here on Topix; and that won't go very far because y'all have ZERO CLOUT with the right people. So, you have to cry about your shortcomings to the real champs of college football, the SEC. Cry all you want to. Crying won't get you far at all, just in a quagmire, a rut that you are doomed to be in forever......:)
