Vikings' defense rises from the ashes in best effort of the season

Full story: TwinCities.com

An East Coast blizzard and the NFL's mind-numbing decision to postpone their game against the Eagles created a two-day interval for the Vikings' defense to channel a season's worth of frustration into one supercharged performance.

Webb showed some pocket presence well beyond his years, and more than TJ ever did, and against a very good defense. We saw TJ in the last game against the Eagles and he looked atrocious, and I think the book is finally closed on his Vikings future.
Favre can no longer help this team, except for grooming his heir, so I don't agree with him taking over at QB. If the team is willing to put him in at starter, he should be willing to bench himself after the start and finally step aside.
I GOT MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT WHO(QB) SHOULD PLAY THAT LAST GAME..........GLAD I DON'T HAVE TO MAKE THAT CALL.

Looks like I will be rootin' for the Rams to get in........always had the soft spot for the underdog..........I remember year's ago they got in as a WC(pretty sure) and proceeded to get to the SB and give Pittsburgh fits..........it was a fun ride for them, maybe they can ruffle some feathers again should they get to the next "season."

f they bring suh and co after webb he will be atrocious!! he was not projected as a qb out of the draft!! luck, newton,or locher would go right by him!!! and if webb doesnt look good on sunday then what!! you have to get real players if you want to compete!!!the vike skill players are so goddamn good anyone can run them when they care and their opponent doesnt!!! giants and bears wanted those games and you saw this team crumble!! and as a new coach you sit down with the owner and start planning your future NOW!!!YOU SAY WE NEED THE DRAFT BUT i CAN WIN SOME GARBAGE GAMES AND BLOW IT!! IF HE SAYS GO WIN ,,THEN SO BE IT AND YOU ALSO KNOW HOW CLUELESS HE IS!!! I'm sure if the owner wants wins,

It was a good game and besides, it pushed the Giants closer to the brink of elimination, which pushes their clueless coach "Turn Head and Coughlin" closer to the unemployment line. He and Chilly can hold hands.

Doesn't Webbs performance make you wonder if you had a QB that didn't fumble or throw pics just how good the Queens could have been the past 2 years?
