The Vikings will beat the Ravens.

The Vikings will COVER the Vegas spread.

I will not let 'THAT TEACHER GUY' live it down for several weeks. He thinks the Ravens are the greatest thing since breast implants. I say, breast implants are WAY cooler than the Ravens.

The following week, the Vikings will CRUSH the Steelers so bad, they will henceforth be known as the Pittsburgh Tin Foilers. Mark that one down, it's a lock. Vikes by 14+ in that one.

Last of these supposedly 'tough' opponents are the hapless, hopeless, clueless, coachless, offensive line-less Packers. I hope Karen Rogers remembers to take her pill that day,'cuz she's gonna be on her back for the entire game.

And Oxboro is a dweeb.

I also believe Teach gives the Crows too much credit-I can picture their "D" getting frustrated (You will know it when Ray Lewis gets that constipated look) from being unable to contain the Vike's weapons. Also Flacco is still inexperienced so the din of the dome should be a factor.

The team the Vikings need to focus on is themselves. Two areas that need improvement are: 1. Pass defense...start covering the receivers, especially the tight end and backs. 2. The running game. Peterson hasn't hit 100 yards since week one. Not Adrian's fault, it's the ball handling. Favre's slow developing, telegraphing handoffs (and play action) are killing the running game. The ball handling needs to be precise, quick, and deceptive...all three are missing.

The Vikes will beat up on the Ravens cause they're old and will beat the steelers in overtime or late in the 4th quartercause they're missing their heart in T.P. and the snackers will crumble when they face the williams wall and not to mention the sackmaster Jarred Mullett Allen . So to all doubters I've baught my tickets to the superbowl and the probowl , hint hint I'll be the one in the front row of the endzone holding up the MN Vikes poster. So show your horns . Go Vikes

We'll see where they stand in a few weeks. We've had a pretty good schedule so far. We've won the games we're supposed to win and we're relatively healthy.
The next month or so will show if we are legit contenders or not! Im saying we will be!
I see that you now are dealing with reality and what I have told you on other threads. It's a long season and alot can happen.

Don't worry about the schedule, the bottom line is that they are headed to the SUPER BOWL. FARVE is the difference.

Can't wait to see what you have to say if Favre starts screwing it up. Learn how to spell his name....

This game I am a bit leary of. This game will be the sounding board for the reast of the season if you ask me. Ravens are no push overs. As I look at their information on the year, I can only draw a few conclusions:

1) They are going to make Favre beat them. They always play run defense. Expect AP to have another tough game. But if mediocre HB like Benson can break off 120 yards on them, AP should be able to come close to that even if they are stacking the line.
2) They are vulnerable to the big play. Every loss they've had was in the final minutes off a big play/final drive. They've not been blown out this year. Pressure situations seem to favor their opponents. If the game is close, favor goes to the Vikings.
3) Their QB has had to carry their offense in 4 of the 5 games played throwing 30+ times. Vikings secondary is the weakest part of the defense. Favor Ravens
4) Minus the Cleveland game, they have let their opponents hang in the game. Favor Vikings.
5) They have difficult times beating veteran QB's Even the Chargers game they let them march right back into that game in the 4th Quarter. Favor Vikings.

This game is going to test the mettle of the Vikings thats for sure.

Prediction: Close game, VIkings 23 - Ravens 17.

The Queen's could lose all three games and I will be surprized if they win more than one of the next three. They barely beat S.F. who got slaughtered by Atlanta. They beat the Packers but gave up 400 yards passing. Even St. Louis outgained them in yardage. We have a very poor secondary, and a offensive line that allows too many sacks and doesn't open holes. On the positive side we have a QB who given time will keep us in games. But in looking at are soft schedule thus far its easy to be skeptical about how good this team is. My take were good not great and its still too early to say we're going to the Super Bowl.

Are in Green Bay. The Vikings are a stud-loaded team. Pukers season is over, btw. They lose to Dallas, Pitt, Ravens, 49ers and many more incl the bears in Chicago. On the Ravens, yes - very tough game, but as I said, Favre has owned the Ravens throughout his career, and in the games played, Ray Lewis was a complete and total non-factor. Just a reminder. Favre is the EXACT qb needed for an over-reactive defense like the Ravens have. Pitt is another story entirely (we lose there, sorry).

@Lance706: Vikes have played the Lions, Rams, Browns...what makes you think the opponents are 17-7?!?! Vikings opponents to date are 7-17. Looking at the rest of the schedule--the only easy games left for the Vikings are Panthers and a rematch with the Lions. Last game of the year, like Brent's last game with the Packers: NY Giants. Things could get tough for the Vikings.
