Vikings' defense vows to 'keep fighting'

Full story: TwinCities.com

To their credit, Vikings defenders were in no mood to cast blame or take the bait and throw their offensive colleagues under the bus outside Lambeau Field after Sunday night's agonizing 28-24 loss to the Packers.

Our defense looked lik a bunch of girlscouts on the field last couple of games. Our D line is not getting the pressure/ Our backers cant get a solid hit on anyone/ and our smoked bacon defensive backfield forgets to play on third and longs. Maybe our d-line has bought too much into their own press/ Sure our offensive talent cant get their sh-t together/ but good defenses carry some teams. But then again I said GOOD defenses can carry some teams.

I cant believe our defense is this bad. Fraizer will never get hired the way we're playing. We can't stop anyone. Teams go up and down the field on us, running and throwing. NO stops means no playoffs. We are very weak on O and D. Without Percy Harvin we'd be sunk 0-5. I dont like this team right now. Where is Bud Grant when you need him. He could coach.

Our defense has played pretty good until the last couple games. Not blitzing and thinking our secondary is going to stop a high passing team is ridicules.I dont understand why they do that.I think the defense is losing their will after to many games with no offense.Jared Allen even took an indirect stab at the offense by saying were the team of almosts, almost score ,almost get touchdowns, then went on to say we have to quit giving up turnovers, and create some.

Typical Viking defense bend but do not break. Why can we not start the game in a positive fashion. EVERY game we fall behind, offense does nothing and defense gives up tons of yards, tons of time of possession and points. COACHING is are problem, plain and simple. Letting the clock wind down at halftime is idiotic, not challenging Packer TD was just as bad

Withe Vikings and the Packers both having many injuries, I se the Bears as the NFC Central champs.

Brett Favra at QB will weaken the Vikings, Time for him to quit.
