The Vikings are coming off one of their best seasons in recent history, but there's still plenty of room for improvement.

Winfield is healthy again, and no rookie is going to unseat him this year. Griffin is hurt, but will recover soon enough, and he's still young. Now they have Sheppard, to go along with last year's 3rd round pick Allen, and Benny Sapp.

With all that, I can't see them taking a CB who's almost guaranteed to sit on the bench all year. Why?

OL I can see happening. If Pouncey is there, he might start as a rookie. That's 2 big, young offensive linemen (Loadholt being the other) to start re-building a dominant line with.

I'd still like to get a QB, but no QB is going to succeed with a porous line. Maybe they have to put that off another year and get the big guys..

I just hope they continue drafting valuable players as they have done the past 3 years, whoever they select I am sure that player will be an asset. Mays has had some critics, they say his ball skills are average and he cannot cover the slot reciever in the nickel, just an FYI-GO VIKES-DRAFT WELL-their title hopes may well hinge on who they take the next couple days.

Tim tebow is what we need not some defance lineman who is going to bee held a lot. We got to help our selves on future quarterback we can pick up defence and offance lineman later in the draft. go vikings.

Below average??? What is your definition of the word average? Coming 1 game short of the big game certainly doesn't place them below average. We may not have won the superbowl last year, but it was a fun ride. I don't feel fleeced at all. In fact, I'd like to thank Ziggy for keeping them competative. Imagine living in Detroit!

Super Bowl, hopes ended last year. What are the chances that Favre, plays the best season of his career again , or we get some of the breaks the Vikes got last year? What are the chances the Vikes, have as few injuries as they did last year? Like it or not, even Favre, having his best statistical year couldn't get us to the Super Bowl that should tell you something. The sad thing is the Vikes, had the Super Bowl, within their grasp, and theIr franchise players and their coach threw it away. Coming out of the time out the only things said should have been, no turnovers and no penalties it could have been game over. No, no Super Bowl for this team, ask the Chargers where having one of the best running backs gets you? They will tell you the playoffs, but not the Super Bowl.
