Instead of trading some of these younger talents to address needs, Childress curs them, yeah that makes sense you get nothing in return.

I would have expected them to keep Wright with the corner position being very thin, I also thought they would have gotten more for Rosenfels and Reynaud than just some draft picks. They could have traded for another solid WR.

I guess Wilf wants to start stockpiling new draft picks so he can rebuild the team in Los Angeles when he moves the Vikings there.

It's starting to look like the Nort Stars deal all over again

Cardinals cut Leinart who has more QB skills in his little finger than TJoke will ever have and Klink keeps him #2 behind Favre. PATHETIC. Just about every rookie QB playing this pre-season in thier first few games looked better than TJoke and he's been in the league for years. PATHETIC. Klink must be fired!

im actually surprised they cut imperio. the run game of the vikes would be fierce if they had a good blocking fullback to make the blocks. Remember when we had tony richardson? now hes a friggin jet and our run game isnt what it should be. I sure hope they know what their doing. lol. overall it sounds like the same viking team we had last year. weakness being offensive line and a pathetic secondary that gets exposed by even the bad qbs. i like the fact they can stop the run but damn itd be nice to see them stop the pass as well. so, hang on folks cuz its gonna be a bumpy ride. i sure hope its true they got Housh to come catch passes from ol bert. Vikes rule

how in this world can the vikings namely one brad childress, cut excellent football players like sage, javon, darrius, nate, and KEEP A TURD with legs like jackson??????????what is the NFL coming to?this is the biggest flop trades by a headcoach i have ever seen . even peewee coaches make better calls. The only thing that will save childress now is to grab matt leinart. god help the vikings, because they have NO FRONT OFFICE !

More injustice. Triplett shouldn't be cut nor should Ryan Dimperio.

i almost hope the vikings will flop this year, as then maybe stupid zygi wilf would fire bald-headed, embarrassing brad childress.

I can't believe what I've seen happen to the team today... It's sad to know that they can get rid of good quality players and keep players that s uck. I just hope Brett can stay healthy or we'll be lucky to win the division because Tar**by can't do the job..

i've heard a few people talking about matt. they fail to realize that, like sage, he is terrible. never have i said that tavi is great but leinart is garbage.

First they trade Rosenfels and Reynaud to the Giants for basically nothing in return. Now they release Javon Walker when they are depleted at receiver...didn't he just catch two TD's??? Personally, I like a player that catches TD's.

These three must really not get along with Childress...they all had value to this team, but yet they're gone.

Maybe not..I think they can be put on the practice squad, that is if nobody grabs them first..Correct me if I am wrong, but don't think being on the practice squad counts towards the 53 limit..

vikes are once again the underdogs - one of the most talented teams in the entire league yet they are already marked as a non threat. Guess thatll make it that much more sweet when they beat up on everyone each and every sunday and all us viking fans get to go to work monday morning with a big ol smile from ear to ear. Just like almost every sunday last year. Vikes rule and will be waking up the world with a decisive victory over the faints.. cuz we all know everyone about fainted when the aints became a glimmer of a competitive team. we all know that wont last.
