Stealers are going to need that Super Bowl XL officiating crew more than ever this season it looks like. Start the lobby.

It's not a big deal because we always have a backup as good or better to fill in. Hoke and Mendenhall will do just fine.

if mendenhall doesnt fumble the ball too much..and i bet the ravens are going to blitz just like the eagles did.

Both teams have injuries, the ravens are dinged up a bit in the secondary and the steelers on the d-line. The ravens MAY be able to run better with Hampton out and the Steelers MAY be able to pass easier.

I think Hoke is more than capable. in 2004 he finished off ~10 games for an injured Hampton and the team went 15-1.

Also parker has never been able to run against the ravens. Bettis had success because he punished them with his strength. Mendenhall is no Bus but he is stronger than parker and just might take everyone by surprise. This is why he was picked first. Let's see how he responds. I'll be cheering on monday that's for sure.

Do you mean the one that didn't call the illegal pick in the end zone when we lost to the Cowboys?

It's all up to the offensive line. I swear, the way they played, or didn't play on Sunday, my high school coach would've benched the lot of them in the second quarter. "you boys want to watch your quarterback get killed? Take a seat and watch from here!"
Don't think that'll happen at home. Steelers will be fine.

I used to say they should have called him the Bulldozer, not the bus. Seemed more fitting.

I walked past the Bus in the airport one time, he was leaving towards the parking lot over that ramp/bridge thing. the guy in front of me yelled Great Season Bus! It was just the three of us and Bus just smiled and said Thank you! grinning from ear to ear.... He was about 4 feet wide from his shoulders to the ground. The man was made to play football.

I still haven't met him, but I believe I will. I've come close & it always seems to have been by a day or 2. I find that very ironic. My brother who passed on last yr. was a fan of his & Romy was his fave Steeler, too. He would have loved to have shared in the coolness & fact that I was in Jerome's house in Nov. of 2007. I was helping out a friend who works for Coldwell Banker realty & I had in the past, as we would renovate houses or clean them out to get them ready for people moving in or to just look @ the house. He just so happened to be cleaning out Jerome's house that Sunday, & his sis came down & told me, &, sarcastically asked if I wanted to help them out. WTF?!! That was the most stupidest question she had ever asked me. LOL.
The only thing was, he had some items that were left behind, even though he has made alot of money, I believed they were forgotten about (especially inside a tiny crammed closet)& w/personalizations on them, especially a Christmas ornament that was his little daughter's. I got in touch w/his best bud & mgr on the phone some time ago, & being that it was the 1 yr. anniversary of his Dad's death, I don't think it was going to get much notice at that time. I will still hope to meet him @ the restaurant.
My one brother caught up w/him the week after I cleaned his house & informed him of things I had of his, & do you know, if they weren't so damn busy @ that black tie event, my brother could've gotten the chance to write his personal e-mail addy down, if also not for the beeatch supervisor who was interrupting their convo. My bro hates her. She is a hag,nag & a cretin. So, who knows. Maybe my time will come. I DO have some great pics of & in that house, though.

Oh, so you are not confused, my other brother is a chef at the Hilton & he has seen & chatted w/Jerome(as well as many other superstars in sports)& other Steelers there. Jerome was one of the coolest, he's said & he has come into the kitchen & hung out w/him before. He is not so found of Hines, though.

Oh, do you really want me to tell you? I don't want to tarnish his image if you are a lover of his. I don't want to go there in a Steeler forum, either. Not right.
