HOWEVER...it is SO LIKE a KlEmPsOn fan to get so excited when they beat football teams who stink. I mean...Duke? The Terps? A something Michigan? The only reason you guys even GOT a blowout was because these teams weren't any good to begin with.
It's like pattin' a fat kid on the back for taking candy from a little baby. It ain't that hard to do to begin with. Talk to me when you start beating teams that kicked your butts this season: like Georgia Tech and the Hoakies....not to mention the Bowden "please let me win daddy so I can keep my job" Bowl.

Ok so yeah we had blow outs when we played nobody. But when you played nobody, what did the Shamecocks do? Played like crap against Louisiana-Lafayette. Play like crap against SC State (a division I/AA team I might add). Just about lost to NC. Did lose to Vanderbilt.
And lets not even talk about the teams that did beat you. Yeah we lost to Georgia Tech, but we beat ourselves in that game. Yeah we lost to Virginia Tech and they just flat out wooped are butts. The shame cocks lost to LSU (I will give you that one. They are probably the best in the nation right now). But then you have Vanderbilt. Enough said. Then you have a mediocre Tennessee team. And the Arkansas. Actually the Shamecocks didnt lose to Arkansas, they lost to Darren Mcfadden and Felix Jones. Two guys kicked your whole teams tale. had that done a few years back. the time spent worrying about it was much worse than the actual procedure. if you get to watch the screen it's kind of neat to see. good luck with it.

depends on what exactly you are calling a 'crack'. are you referring to the one in the bathtub or the on closer to her 'dairy-air'? is that where Clemson ladies usually get their tattoos?

no, i don't like to lump people into any kind of groups, so when i say "these guys" i refer to the ones who seem to have nothing to do but sit at the computer just waiting for the chance to jump out there and talk bad , not only USC, but also USC fans. now CF, i have been around for a LONG time so i fully appreciate a good rivalry. but all this bs of just being mean to each other for no reason is not in fun.

i'm not excluding USC fans. some of them are just as nasty, and i have called them on it too.

as you may have heard me say before, as much as you can actually hear on this thing, i have been a fan for most of my life, and they do sometimes disappoint me. but isn't that how you tell who the real fans are? we're there, win OR lose.

I won't dispute that. We have played like crap a lot this season. I hate our offensive front because they're fat and lazy...especially Sorenson...
But the BOTTOM line is...we won. You guys deserved to lose to Georgia Tech...and Virginia Tech and I was SO HAPPY you did...Thunder and Lightning turned into to partly cloudy w/ light showers... LOL

And while you're on Vandy and the rest...you guys wouldn't stand a chance against them even on your best days. You put way too much emphasis on your mighty two runners...stop them, and you've got nothing...and that's been PROVEN.

And again I say:

First, I did not mention one word about James Davis and CJ Spiller. And if I were to say something about them it would be this...CJ looks scared to hit somebody when he is on the field. James is doing an alright job when he does get a chance to touch the ball, but that is only about 15 times (if that) a game. And how could you say that if you stop James and CJ that we would get beat??? That was proven last year. This year we havent been running the ball very well at all, doesnt matter who we play. What has gotten us our wins is our passing game.
And as far as your SEC losses against average teams goes, I dont know why you think we wouldnt have a changce. You all but lost to the ACC's worst team in North Carolina. And SEC is supposed to be the "power house" conference and the ACC is a joke conference (as I have heard many times from Shamecock fans). And we will see how much of a chance we have against those teams when it comes bowl time. We are probably goining to draw Tennessee or Arkansas.
By the way I did have a little laugh with the "partly cloudy w/ light showers" comment. That was pretty good.

Thanks for the kudos on the joke--I thought it was pretty good too.:) Oh and the SEC is a powerhouse...thats why you guys lost to Kentucky in your last bowl game. Calling US shamecocks....I think the shame would fall on YOU guys big time for that. And that was BEFORE, they were any good.
I know you didn't mention the two weather patterns....I just brought them up because everyone in Tiger Town seemed to want to make a big deal out of those guys and I knew that would be short-lived. Just a little friendly sports-ribbin'. Nothing more.
As far as the Gamecocks go....I'm not that ashamed of them to call them names yet...but I am getting pretty DARNED fed up with our stinky offensive line and Blake "over-throw the ball or die" Mitchell.

i'm not a big fan of Blake, either, but in his defense he just hasn't had the experience a senior should have. he played little last year and Seville is a hard act to follow. he could do just about everything, and could have showed his talents much better if we had had a better team around him. Smelley will be a better leader with a little more playing time. he is already showing a lot of talent. we have had a lot of good play this year. we just need to be consistent. and that seems to be one of our biggest problems.

I most certainly agree. But it still begs the question: When are we EVER going to GET THERE? I mean, it seems as though we always 'kinda-sorta' get there, or get 'really close' to getting there, but we're never solid. I enjoyed our winning streak and 6th in the Nation Celebration...but something in my gut told me it would all be short-lived. Not because I don't have faith in our team...but because I didn't feel secure enough to go around braggin' and what-not.
I don't know when my Gamecocks are going to FINALLY reach that level of just solidly good performance. Good offense, good defense, good special teams and just an overall hungry for excellence. I think the morale of our boys is just pretty good, but not exactly where it should be. We still don't quite have that swagger I'm looking for.

I guess I'm hard on Blake because I know what the knuckle-head can do. Remember our bowl game last year?? Blake shocked the heck outta me because he played an excellent ballgame against a team favored to beat the living crap out of us. So my expectations of him just sky-rocketed. I understand he's been out of the game for a while...but I just feel as though something has got to click with USC or we'll find ourselves here more and more....

well, no, i don't go around bragging or predicting either. and i try not to run down other teams, but sometimes some people just talk stupid.

we have a great offense and a great defense. they just don't always bring it to the game , and it seems like they just can't seem to get on the bus at the same time. i still don't care for Spurrier but i'm still hoping he can pull it all together.
