Steve Spurrier is the single best thing to ever happen to USC football.

The proof is in the pudding. Clemson still has two games that haven't sold out. Try buying a ticket to a USC game.

I was disappointed in the Gamecocks performance last weekend.I was really angry we he went for the field goal late in fourth quarter. What was he thinking. I guess he wanted a respectable loss instead of realizing we still had a chance to win that game. It really reminded me of Lou Holtz. I dont know what has happened to him. We really need to focus on the passing game, and stick to it. Holtz proved the smash mouth running game does not work, and where is our running defense. We have allowed too many yard rushing. Tyrone Nix had really step up and get these guys ready, because now everyone we will play for the rest of the year will be running the ball on us. Why cant we stop the Quarter Back sneak. I admit that QB for LSU is very talented, but I knew every time he came in he was going to keep it, and we did nothing to stop it. It is going to be a long frustrating year. I do agree with Mr. Charlie that Coach Spurrier is the best thing that has ever happened to the program with wanting to biuld up the facilities and learning centers, but did we not hire him to win games. Sorry, just had to vent a little. GO COCKS.

These next two games are crucial to the rest of our season. We need to play our best game vs. MSU to give us added confidence to beat Kentucky. I really feel good about Smelley starting instead of Mitchell. He showed a lot of poise in the second half and playing more will only make him better. GO COCKS !!!

The number of sold out games doesn't mean a thing. It just shows how many people around here are fiscally irresponsible!

LSU was clearly the superior team in this game. They had the most talent and USC doesn't have any talent to offset LSU's. Isn't it just like Spurrier to blame the loss on poor coaching. I thought he and his coaches did a pretty good job, it's just that LSU is a really good team and it doesn't matter how well you coach your players.
