2 weeks to prepare and we have penalties, penalties, and more penalties, and 2nd 3 to go and were in shotgun? I just don't get it, at least were playing the Lions.

We won. We beat a team we should beat. We won convincingly. Let's hope it's a sign of good things to come. The defense played very well and the O-line didn't stink. I can't complain. Yahooooooooo! BTW CONGRATULATIONS to Donald Driver.

Does anyone know what was up with Mason Crosby on the early kickoffs? Was it wind or planned short kicks or shanks or what? I'm not complaining, just asking.

we played a depleted Lions D, and we still didn't look very good. I was not impressed, if we played anyone descent in that game, we would have lost. The D looked good because they had their third string QB in there and no Calvin Johnson. If Detroit was at full strength, it might have been a different story. Don't get too excited about that win, but also a congratulations is definitely in order for Driver, he had a great game.

The O-line gave up 4 or 5 sacks against a Detroit D line who was missing three starters, not very impressive, I guess I must have been watching a different game than you GBPfan.

OMG I'm being sucked into TT's vortex. The culture of losing he has created is such an alluring mistress I can't see straight.

But seriously, I am sick and tired of not being able to enjoy a win. Please give me this week. I want to ignore the facts for a change. For at least one week all Packer fans get to live in ignorant bliss. Is it wrong to want this?

lol, no it is not wrong. It was nice to get a shut out, I think we only let them get 150yrds of offenses, not too bad. Bigby and Collins looked good, that is one positive thing I got from the game.

GBPfan, I’m with you.

Packers kick ass! They’re going to slaughter the Vikes! Start measuring for rings, baby!

And now … door open for V fans to blow those comments clear out of proportion.

How about we beat the Browns before we start measuring anything?

(grins @ Danger D) I know, I know.

I have to say it was nice to watch a game where I never had the feeling that the outcome was in doubt. That's been a long time in the making. Rodgers looked great, Driver was amazing on a couple of those catches, and we shut them out. Throw out Clifton's false starts (that was an abomination, he's better than that) and it looks a little better.

Let's hope the Packers bring their A-game to Cleveland and make it two in a row.

I'm looking forward to seeing Lang perform for a full game. More out of interest than hope. Oh well.

We won, but I wouldn't say convincingly. For the most part, we were playing against the Lions' 2nd & 3rd string because of injuries. As for the kickoffs, the problems were due to the wind.
