Couch is a couch potato. He's about as immobile as a brick. Saw him play in Cleveland where he tanked. So this is great news if you're looking for another reason to not watch the Jaguars play in their un-named stadium.

The problem with the Jaguars is Shak and Leftwich, they go hand in hand. First of all Bryon is not an athlete, he is the slowest thing on the field. David is an athlete and a much better QB. Wake up Weaver and get rid of Shak. Drafting Couch is not going to get it,get rid of Leftwich.

Why is everyones comments here so NEGATIVE?? I live in Toronto I love the JAGS and I promise everyone here that Leftwich and Taylor will tske the Jags this year atleast to the AFC Title game watch and wait Couch isn't a bad player either. I'm just glad Culpepper isn't going to be the backup.

BUT AS SOON AS THE JAGS SLIP THEN EVERYONE GOT SOMETHING NEGATIVE TO SAY THE JAGS ARE SORRY!!!!!.....BUT I SAY THIS I AM A JAG FAN FOR LIFE AND I SUPPORT MY TEAM WHETHER WINNING OR LOSING CAUSE THATS WHAT A REAL FAN DOES...WE ARE NOT THE EXPERTS IF WE WERE THEN WE WOULD BE OUT THERE ON THE FIELD COACHING AND/OR PLAYING.........SO LETS JUST HUSH OUR MOUTHS AND SIT BACK TO WATCH SOME GOOD FOOTBALL.........I HAVE FAITH IN LEFTWICH AND THE PLAYERS OUT THERE ON THE FIELD..........

You people need to open your eyes. Byron is a good QB. In his last 17 starts he threw for over 3000 yard with 22 touchdowns and only 10 int's. Thats not bad people.

If you all think that Couch is here for anything more than to be a camp arm then you better put down the bong. Del Rio needed another arm since Gray is down with the leg injury. It happens all the time, every year, in every camp. Heck, John Gruden has 6 QBs in camp down in Tampa.
Garrard is no starter, he is a career back up. If he was anything more some team would have made an offer that couldn't be refused around draft day.
Leftwich is the guy. He is the only one on the roster who legitimately could be a very good NFL starter. We'll have to see what happens this season and then decide whether or not he is the guy for this team.

Tim Couch is a veteran that could be a steal and eventually take the number two spot. He looks like a good bargain for a #3 guy.
